I'm sorry this did not meet your expectations. We have vacation homes, hotel rooms and bunk rooms. You folks booked one of our bunk rooms which is a budget room, advertised with shared bathrooms off the hall and no TV - great for back packers and those who want a comfy bed and warm shower at a super low rate. Unfortunately we did not have any open hotel rooms that night or I would have given you the opportunity to upgrade. I did offer to give you a full refund, so you could find something that would be more to your liking.

I'm sorry you did not enjoy your stay. We are a small property with 7 rooms and 5 cabins - as such there is rarely anyone at the front desk. As the inn keeper, I'm usually busy cleaning, doing laundry, groundskeeping or caring for other guests. We have a phone a the front desk with my cell number (or another steam member on duty) for immediate service. As for the room, I think you are referring to our economy bunkhouse lodging. This is a basic budget room. As Expedia doesn't let us have word descriptions of the space, I have been actively uploading new images (I added more today) so you and other guests have better expectations of their room choices. I am hopeful that this would have solved some of your issues by making it clearer what the space was about. Our Hotel/Lodge rooms and our vacation homes offer higher levels of comfort and amenities all all levels. As for the Internet, unfortunately, after the last winter storm in March, it devastated the power and phone lines coming up river. Service has been intermittent ever since from the only internet provider in our area, and a huge frustration for all of us. Fortunately we have a second provider starting in the next couple months and will have dual access to the internet which should help reliability. Please contact us directly to share more about your experience so we can continue to improve.
