Everything in the cabin is in very good condition. Well located, just a couple of miles from Blowing Rock and about 15 minutes from Boone (bigger chain stores available like Walmart, Walgreens, and chain restaurants). Road to cabin is tight but it is paved and is easy to get to. During my 7-day stay I never encountered any vehicular traffic while driving on the neighborhood road. The non-chain restaurants in Blowing Rock are awesome, specially the Specked Trout. There are not many amenities at the cabin (hot tub, pool table, video games, etc.) except for various video streaming services, but we spent most of our time out and about. There are numerous hiking spots all over the area. Three things that I would add to this cabin is a Keurig machine, some window curtains to the windows facing the street, and maybe a pool table. Other than that, I would say this is a near perfect cabin (with very nice hosts). ##### Javier P. The cabin was clean, cozy, and well stocked. We loved the location near Blowing Rock, with easy access to Boone, the trails around Moses Cone, and many other hiking trails in the area. ##### Christina H. Nearby zip lines, canoeing, and rafting for the youngest; easy to moderate trail hiking and drives on the Blue Ridge Parkway for the oldest. We all enjoyed refreshing new experiences. ##### Harold O. It was the perfect place for our multigenerational group! The house was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. In addition, the layout of the house provided the perfect blend of togetherness and privacy. Stephanie has missed her calling if she's not an interior decorator :) In addition to being beautiful the house was very functional. We found everything we needed to cook at home and for our grand children to stay safely and comfortably. The hosts provided so many thoughtful extras, especially for a family traveling with young children. If you stay, be sure to star view from the deck. Magical.
