When we walked into the hotel, we were overpowered by the smell of weed. The lady that checked us in was very friendly. The room was big, clean and smelled nice. AC worked well. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows.
This was the worst place that I've stayed in the Bloomington area. There was no one at the check-in desk. My room was VERY dirty. It was not cleaned at all. The bed,at least, was made. No breakfast or even coffee in the lobby. I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone and will not be back. You should not be advertising this site on Expedia !!!!!! AWFUL
Staff was friendly. Price was great. Very clean for the price, but they had very limited amenities. No vending machines, no ice machines, no ice buckets and I had to basically program the TV myself to watch anything.
Parking lot is not well lit, room was very dirty, only one light worked, shower was too gross to try, no ice machine, low water pressure in sink, door lock was questionable. Sleep in your car.

The bathtub needed to be reglazed as it was old and there was black around the drain. The microwave didn’t work. For the price I got what I paid for.
Awful!, the bathtub had mold all around the edge, the room’s floor was dirty and stained. I would not recommend at all, even if it’s the only hotel in the area, which, unfortunately is why we stayed there, not falling for that again. Avoid at all costs… not to mention they charged us as if it were a 4-5 star hotel
No one would answer the phone and the television wouldn't work and couldn't find any help! All I could do was sit in a quiet room for 2 nights. Ridiculous! NEVER AGAIN will I stay there, & no one else should either.
Price was good, but overall I will look elsewhere. Staff was helpful but stayed at a different hotel. The lights in the parking lot were not working at night. I’d say these things were figured into the cheap rate. It has potential. It’s more of a one night stay place, not the week like i did. It’s just ok.

Upon checking in I heard the staff tell another guest that the ice machine wasn't working and that they might try the nearby hotel.
I killed a 2" red centipede on my dresser as I tried to use my TV. Unable to make a connection to Hulo, Disney, Paramount, Documentaries, Action. In the morning upon opening my curtains I discovered someone had left my bedroom window open about 2" inches which would explain why I was cold all night after upping the room temp 3 times.
I've never seen the 1/2 size bedding which doesn't tuck under the mattress.
My TV was not connected to the Internet and couldn't connect with all settings behind a code. I hooked up my TV to my computer and then found the Internet was insanely slow and would boot you off every so often... Not making it a ideal environment to do my notes for work that are due periodically over the week.... Having to wait for each note to load on the net... Turned a 15 min job to over a hour.... Only major complaint.
Arrived at 6:30pm, no one was working at the desk. Rang both bells, tried this for about 20 minutes. Finally another guest wandered by and mentioned that I might need to check-in at the hotel next door.
The entire lobby smells of smoke or weed. Oddly the room did not. The room, however, has seen little to no maintenance or care. Opened the door and the light didn't work. When I did find a working light, I wished I hadn't. The walls were stained and peeling. Bits of dirt/debris on the floor and corners brings into question how often it is actually cleaned. The TV had no connectivity - didn't bother to call the front desk because no one was working there. The bathroom was just as bad - no functional toilet paper holder, I was afraid to use the shower.
It's shocking Bloomington allows this place to pass health and permit codes. Yes, it's cheap, but there are alternatives just a few dollars more that are likely in better shape.
Management will reply "thanks for your feedback" which is another way of acknowledging they are aware of the problems and don't care to do anything about them.
Unless you are looking for a place out of a Criminal Minds episode, save yourself the experience and find another hotel.
The staff was rude and unhelpful left early and did not contact me refused to give me a refund, even though they stated they would in person, and I found a mouse on the property alive
