Guests need to accept most buildings in Blackpool are old, taking that into accout I cannot fault the Shining Diamond on the cleanliness of our room. Bedding and towels were spotless. Bathroom exceptionally clean. Breakfast was served promptly, well cooked and hot. Hosts Steve and Dawn two lovely people made us feel very welcome.....the property is literally a minutes walk away from the coach station and 10 minutes walk into the main part of the town for entertainment and shopping....

A shining diamond of a break

We had a great time with Steve and Dawn. The hotel was clean the welcome was warm. The shining diamond is just a short walk to both the sea front and the town centre. First class breakfast and we will return. Which is the best recommendation I can give. Thank you Steve and Dawn

Another great stay

It was a pleasure to return to the Shining Diamond. The hosts take such good care of the place meaning the rooms and all communal areas are kept in excellent condition. Breakfast is also really good and freshly cooked. Looking forward to my next visit

It was Halloween night when I arrived and I was treated by two hosts dressed up in Beetle Juice costumes. Plus the hotel had been well decorated for Halloween. The bedroom I had was large enough for one person, and included an ensuite. For some reason the water pipes groaned quite a bit, especially after a shower or flushing the toilet. I guess it is the age of the property, which gives it charm. The room was also clean with a working tv and hot shower. The hosts were very pleasant and looked after me well. The included breakfast was of a good standard and served promptly between 8:00 to 09:00 each morning. It is worth mentioning that the premises is very close to the town centre car parks and the town centre itself. It is approximately a 5-10mins walk to the Blackpool Tower/Winter Gardens. So many restaurants and pubs/clubs are in easy walking distance. For the price of the accommodation, this is a good find and if I travel to Blackpool again, I will give it consideration. It is always good to know who your hosts are, even if they look like Beetle Juice 😜

Excellent Bed and Breakfast

I would like to thank Steve for being a wonderful host during my stay at The Shining Diamond. Due to an early evening commitment, I was unable to arrive in the normal hours to check guests in but he was happy for me to arrive late and even left a football match he was watching to let me in. The room was really good with a comfy bed and excellent shower. Breakfast was also really good with most of the ingredients from a local butcher. Lovely to have it cooked fresh as well. It can be so hard to find a decent bed and breakfast in Blackpool but this is one of the best and will be the first one I check out on my next visit.

A clean and comfy guesthouse close to the front

Dont keep looking book it

Absolutely amazing little hotel. We booked stay only but was able to book a breakfast the night before which we did and definitely did not dissapoint everything was cooked to perfection just as we asked. Room was a little small but big enough for a weekend stay but couldnt fault our stay. Would definitely recommend.

A home from home.

Dawn & Steve were extremely welcoming & friendly. Steve also allowed us to park on some private land next to their BnB which was very kind of him. Great location & walking distance from the town centre. We would recommend.
