When we got there there was a phone number on door which we called and a man and girl came up from a shop and let us in about a hour later they were telling all the guests to pay again or leave saying they hadn’t received payment which had clearly came out everyone’s bank my little boy was very upset and so were a lot of guests it was terrible

Avoid this hotwl
When booking the photo of the property was different to the actual front of the hotel. The man on reception was on the phone to his friend when i got there and showee no interest in being helpful. The booking says wifi and a carpark but there is neither. When asking about car park was told to use the full public car park at the end of the road. The shower was only freezing cold water the hot wouldnt work, we had kitchen roll instead of toilet roll in the toilet. The tv could not get any channels and there were empty crisp packets and rubbish behind and under the beds. And the hotel have refused our request for a refund. Even a cheap basic hotel should have basics such as hot water for a shower, toilet roll and a tv that works Avoid this hotel

Parking can be expensive
Acceptable standard but an empty building was opposite and asked about parking there aas my uncle is disabled. Sunday morning I found a PCN on my car. Quite disappointed

Horrible Helmshore
There were no english speakers. Had to wait 15 mins for an english speaker to cone to the hotel. Beds were made but the room had not been cleaned, very dusty and toilet had been used but not flushed. The online pictures do not look like the sane hotel, if there were would not have booked it.

The smell on the entrance to the property was rotten & damp The fact there was pubic hair all over the bathroom from previous guests No clean bedding on beds Was that bad I had to go to find another hotel to stay in after travelling nearly 4 hours to find out they took our payment for the booking and gave our booking to someone else Considering contacting trading standards never seen such a shamble in my life ! And also the reviews , photos and hygiene rating on the website is from 2020 Hotel needs shut down
