It amazes me that they can’t clean the hallways or the elevators. That is something that would go a long way to overall appearance. The rooms are clean and the bed was comfy.
The staff was excellent and extremely friendly and welcoming. They were very helpful with recommendations on restaurants. The room could have been much cleaner especially in the bathroom. We had hairs on the floor and in the shower and a hairy soap bar left from previous guest.
This was our 4th visit staying at Candlewood when we visit Alabaster, AL. We have always stayed at Candlewood. We try to visit at least once a year. Candlewood is always our go to. We love it. EVERYONE is so very nice and kind.
Nicely equipped rooms with full kitchenettes, desk spaces, recliner chair, closet and a nice bathroom. The available snacks and gym are nice extras. There are shopping and dining options close by and the access to the interstate is excellent. It is mostly quiet,
There was no free breakfast, the ac smelled a bit like sweat, and there was no working cable but other than that it was fine. The employees were kind and greeted us with smiles.
I travel for work almost 345 days per year and have stayed in many hotels across this country. This time I was in Alabaster Alabama for my granddaughters play. I booked a one 1 bedroom suite. It was spotless. It was quiet. It had a full kitchen with everything I needed to be able to cook a meal. The bed was comfy. The staff was excellent on every shift! The pantry was great for late night snacks or drinks. It is in an extremely safe area and accessible to many restaurants and shops. Everything was perfect! I cannot say enough about our week long stay. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. There are several to choose from in the area but this one was perfect in every way! Thanks Candlewood!
