"Booking was very easy. Checking in was amazing, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The staff made my family feel welcome like we have been there before. The place and the room was immaculately clean. The pool area was immaculate clean. We didn’t have to worry about the safety leaving the pool area. My family and I enjoyed the hot breakfast. It was great for them to be away on spring break visiting family and enjoying themselves. We will definitely be returning shortly for another great experience and recommend to our family and friends to stay at this hotel."

"We booked this home because of the size so we could have our wedding ceremony overlooking the lake. To say this house was clean and great is an understatement. Add to the fact the owners were in contact with us immediately if we had a question or when we left some items behind. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy. "This place is well-maintained for how old it is, and it was fun to stay in such a historic building. Surface cleaning is spotless, but a deeper clean is not really great (e.g., ceiling fans). Our room did not have a TV so we had to watch in the living room. We had to share a bathroom. Kind of frustrating for a room with kids, but it was on the booking. Just didn’t catch it somehow. The pillows could use a regular update. The breakfast was better than a traditional continental breakfast, but not fantastic. "

"Excellent communication with the host. Every question was answered quickly. The property is great with just a short walk to the lake. Very clean with comfortable beds, plenty of space, a game room/family room with a fireplace, large TV, comfortable furniture, and wine fridge. Large deck with screened in area, and a fire pit with seating behind the home. The kitchen is fully equipped - dishwasher, coffee maker, cookware, toaster, fridge and electric oven/stove. I'm already planning to rent this home again in the next 6 months. "
