It's almost like having a private chairlift that easily connects you to the rest of the mountain. The condo itself is very comfortable and Shirley was responsive when we had a question. Just be aware that there is nothing walkable from here and you'll be using your car to get to restaurants, the main base area and the market. We loved the peace and quiet. The location was ideal - ski-in/ski-out. Having a car however is very helpful if you want to get to the town or mountain village for shopping and access to restaurants. Very clean, nicely stocked and a great ski in/ski out location. The hosts were great to work with and communicated well. The only caution is there is not a really easy way to make it back to the lift it’s located on. Check-in and parking were easy as was ski storage in the garage. We loved stepping out the back door, onto our skis, and sliding down to the Lone Moose triple lift. The bedrooms were comfortable, the decor was inviting and whimsical (stuffed animals populated the room with bunk beds) and the in-floor heat was great in the bathrooms. The kitchen was well supplied with a great variety of cooking equipment. One note regarding the Lone Moose Lift, it does not have a safety bar and some in our group found this was a bit unnerving. We will recommend this property to our skiing friends and would happily stay here again. ##### Uschi S. It is ski in and ski out but you need to be a good skier since beginners will struggle down the double blue access route ( no green way to lodge) Hot tub and other facilities are for owners only, you do have paid access to pools etc in the main area. The weaker skiers in my group could not ski down the double blue so I had to pick them up at the main area. You do need a car with 4 wheel drive to go in and out the steep long entrance to the condo area as we had 8 inches of snow the day before. Big sky is awesome and the skiing was great. ##### Juan P. The ski lift right outside was super convenient, and the views of the hillside right off the back patio gave this property the mountain home feel we were looking for. We loved the wood fireplace, and the kids lived the stuffed animals in the bedroom. The only negatives are the road is very steep, long, and windy downhill to get to the condo that was snow covered but 4 wheel drive it’s ok. Also the ski lift was closed due to no snow. This stunk because that’s one of the reasons we picked it so it’s a good thing we had a car. I would drop off and pickup the skiers - it’s only a 7 min drive. It was nice and quiet. It was more than perfect for our family! The condo location is really nice and quiet with the lift right there. This condo was in the perfect location. It was away from the craziness of Mountain Village, had incredible views, and was very comfortable.
