Appledore - Stables - A couples delight! One bed cottage with parking and wifi!

A quaint barn conversion situated in the pretty fishing village of Appledore, N Devon within easy reach of local beaches, glorious coastal walks and the Tarka Trail.
This property makes a wonderful base for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing break / get away. Appledore has everything on the doorstep including amazing restaurants, delightful shops, and a working fishing quay.
Stables is a spacious and airy property with vaulted ceilings, large bedroom, veranda and private gated parking space in a nearby yard - a rarity in the village!
Please note that there are around 10 cobbled steps (see photograph) leading p to the property.

Very well equipped property ideal for a couple. Bonus of parking space. Timely communications with Sarah. A short walk to excellent deli, John's.The Champ great for live music particularly Blues. Seagate good for food.If you like fresh fish, go to the wet fish shop at Appledore Quay. Impressive range of fish and seafood.

Lovely location

Ideal property for a couple. Spacious with a view to the estuary over rooftops. Well equipped and comfortable. 5 min walk to restaurants, deli and shops. Great base to explore North Devon.

What a find

A great holiday

Lovely spacious accommodation, quiet and well located with views of the estuary, the parking space was a real bonus. The stables was a fantastic base for walking. We had such a lovely time and felt we had found a a real gem.

Exactly as Described and Lovely

Sarah was a wonderful host.... attentive and with extra welcoming touches,,,tea, coffee, milk and cookies for our arrival, together with a hand written note. The cottage was clean, well put together, and comfortable. Just a five minute walk to the estuary with many shops and restaurants. Appledore is very central for exploring Devon and Cornwall. Thank you Sarah!

The Stables.

Our stay at The Stables was excellent. Peaceful location. Just outside the village area but close enough to walk everywhere.(even after a knee operation). The Stables was lovely and clean and had all the facilities we required. Two very small criticisms. The shower was a bit 'cramped' and the balcony would be more private if the balustrade was boarded over to make it 'solid but overall we would love to return.

Perfect place for exploring North Devon

Amazing short stay in a great property

Amazing property....stunning inside....clean and well maintained. Easy to find and check in. Excellent facilities provided and the welcome pack was amazing. All matching decor made the property feel so welcoming. The property is in an excellent position with a dedicated parking space. Local pubs and restaurants are great with good food choice. Would highly recommended The Stables to stay in. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay....thank you...left feeling much refreshed and relaxed.
