Great for walkers with lovely country, woodland and coastal walks close by, and family fun at The Big Sheep and Milky Way are close by.. Ground Floor:

Bathroom: Bath, Toilet. Electric heaters, electricity, bed linen and towels included. Cot. Patio with sitting-out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: There is a fenced lake and two steps in the property grounds.. This two bedroom detached Scandinavian style lodge is the perfect peaceful retreat with lovely country, woodland and coastal walks close by, and many beaches and hidden coves to explore. The deck which wraps around two sides of the lodge is the ideal spot to relax and unwind. Cycling, riding, surfing, sailing and fishing are all available locally and the famous surfing beaches of Westward Ho! and Bude are an easy drive. For family fun, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way Adventure Parks are close by and the area has many highly acclaimed local pubs and restaurants to enjoy. There are several National Trust properties in the area, The Eden Project as well as the RHS Gardens at Rosemoor and Docton Mill. Shop 6 miles, pub and restaurant 2.5 miles.  
  
There is open water in the property grounds.

#### An out of the way location accessed by single track road.

An out of the way location accessed by single track road. The lodge was clean and tidy but the double bed was rather uncomfortable. Also, the double bed had not been fitted with a bottom sheet and this had to be requested. There is no wi-fi connection.

Fantastic place to get away from it all. Everywhere is basically 30min away. Perfect for exploring Cornwall and Devon. Only complaint (and I am being picky) was the mattress in the master bedroom.
