Perfect place to stay while exploring capital reef
Great new build to stay while exploring the Capital Reef area, this place was very spacious and clean. Big kitchen and space for our group size. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and its close proximity to great hiking and exploring. Highly recommend and will stay again when coming back!
This new and immaculately clean house was perfect for our stay in the Torrey area. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, away from the traffic on nearby Scenic Highway 24. The bedrooms were separated for privacy as well as spacious and easy to live in. It was a great fit for our group of two couples.
House was exceptional. Great location, close to restaurants and Capital Reef National Park. Pictures accurately reflect the property. Beds were comfortable and the house was stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. If you stay at the house and it is a clear night, the nighttime sky is amazing.
Such a cute cozy house! Loved the location when going to Capital Reef! We would definitely stay here again when traveling back that way to visit the park!
This is a beautiful rental home we found for a 2 night stay during our visit to Capitol Reef National Park. Location was perfect, only about 26 minutes to the park. The house was a great setup for the 3 couples in our group. Check in and out was simple and any questions we had during our stay were addressed quickly. We really enjoyed this Charming Moonstone Lodge and would highly recommend it!
Excellent house. Brand new. Lots of parking available if you have a trailer. Only complaint is the TV is quite high. Would recommend lowering and adding a sound bar. Would definitely return.
Beautiful house, much-appreciated air conditioning, although rather noisy air flow through the vents. Beds, furniture, and linens were comfortable; there were plenty of blankets and good towels. No shortage of hot water.WiFi was reliable.Coffee maker made only 5 cups, which might be inconvenient for a larger group. Gas stove burners were rather slow to get cooking. There were only two outdoor chairs.Nice views, and the cows next door would serenade us in the evening. Their sweet border collie Boomer would come over to sit with us after his day’s work was done. Royal’s Market in Loa is well stocked, and Marinia’s is good for breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our hikes and scenic drives and loved coming back to relax in the cool quiet evenings. A large wildfire has been burning nearby so the views are affected but we only smelled smoke on our last day. Hoping that the winds subside and the fire is defeated.A shoutout to Brooke at Shooke Coffee Roasters for going out of her way to accommodate us during some short power outages.Bowery Haven Resort at Fish Lake has the best onion rings and is right on the Fish Lake hiking loop. The aspens are amazing to walk through. The ranger station in Loa has good free maps. We also loved Hell’s Backbone Road, Boulder Mountain, Capitol Reef, and especially the viewpoints at the west end of Cathedral Valley. Rent a jeep for the day and do the loop!
