So close to everything you can walk. It does have everything you need. However there are a few things to work on. The shower is disconnecting from the wall, it’s rusted through. I just ran to the grocery store while it was being cleaned. When you enter, the lock is a little tricky. Be sure and try it while Eric is there. Right next to Check Point Charlie, great coffee and restaurants in the area, close to numerous public transit options (bus, subway etc), really safe keycard access (door and elevator) building on a quiet street, great communication and easy check-in. We had a few issues but they were quickly and professionally dealt with. Everything in the apartment as advertised - appliances, etc. Cons - while all as advertised, the apartment has seen better days. The shower riser was broken and the heads almost totally calcified, the chairs and sofa were very uncomfortable (but we didn’t really come to Berlin to hang out in the apartment), the wood floor is trashed (the uncomfortable sofa becomes a reasonably comfortable bed) and it wasn’t super clean. However the price and location were pretty good, and other than the shower and the tortuous seating we were mostly pleased. ##### Cuffy S.
