"We LOVE this hotel. This is our daughter's third year at Trine University and we have stayed here several times. However, we haven't stayed in a little while, and noticed that they changed a few things. The breakfast is now all self serve. (In the past, waffle maker & hot food containers were facing the back and an employee cooked waffles & served all hot food.) The coffee is different as well, and is still decent hotel coffee. We are glad for the change when it's a busy morning. I do miss the English muffins though. 😜 We made use of the little food pantry they have this time. The food is fairly well priced and if you just need a quick bite or to grab some protein, they have good options - frozen meals, packs of seasoned tuna, protein bars, chips, snacks, drinks, etc. They can put cost on the credit card you booked with, soo you don't have to bring cash down. I loved the mint chip Klondike bar. 😁😁 The beds are comfy, bathroom is large, a/c works great. It is always very clean. Plenty of parking. Definitely stay here if you are in town and remember to book over the phone if you are coming into town for Trine. They have a Trine rate that is often better than other options."

"Always a wonderful vacation. The whole experience is excellent from the great house, the lake and pontoon, to the quiet of the area. This is our third time renting from Rhonda. "We truly enjoyed our stay. The location and access to the lake was excellent. Easy check in. Might want to bring a full sized knife and all seasonings/oil you’ll need to cook, but otherwise it worked well to prepare our meals as needed. We appreciated the fans to help take the edge off as it was pretty warm weather during our visit. Took a little bit for the ac to cool in all the upstairs rooms. Loved having a kayak we could use. Overall it was everything we needed without extra frills and we’d be happy to return. "

"Beautiful property with plenty of room to spread out. The family room with large couch and TV are on the second floor so that was an inconvenience for some in our group. The beds are very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the ambiance of the front porch patio with fire pit, tiki bar and koi pond with waterfall. Sean and Shauna are great hosts and always responded promptly to any questions or concerns we had."
