We arrived at the hotel at 3 to check in and was told the room isn’t ready because the hotel was full the night before. They asked us to wait in reception but with 3 year old twins that’s not so easy. We weren’t offered anything as an apology and we’re just left to sit there and wait with 2 of the reception staff being rude like it was our fault for chasing the room.
Once we were in the room there was marks on the bed sheets, split tea/coffee in the cracks of the bathroom so had to put towels down.
Our son is autistic and will only have a certain milk to drink that we packed especially, when trying to put it in the mini fridge it was warmer than the room, I asked reception and they were sending maintenance to check it (they never came equaling in wasted milk)
The restaurant staff at breakfast were lovely and the food at breakfast was lovely, the beds were probably the best beds I’ve ever stayed in so feel really disappointed about the other areas. This was our only break away with the kids over the summer holidays to lego land so have left feeling disappointed especially with what I paid for 2 nights.
