3 days of peace and quiet
A secluded forested area in the midst of hills, mountains, meadows with a meandering stream and no vehicle noise yet easily accessible from the town of Berkeley Springs, WV. The main cabin has everything you need for a getaway trip. The property owners are personable, accommodating but not intrusive.

The house was perfect!! Stocked really nicely, clean, beautiful, private, and overall amazing Check was super easy, location was so beautiful and convenient to town We spent the majority of the time drinking coffee or wine on the front porch totally relaxed Owners checked on us to make sure all was well and were super hospitable Overall an amazing stay !

Berkeley Springs Great Cabin Getaway
Luxurious accommodations with mountain views & fabulous great room with fireplace! The owners were attentive to our every need, and the house is beautifully decorated with lots of room to spread out. With Berkely Springs just minutes away, this made for a memorable and enjoyable getaway, we would definitely do it again!

Cabin is beautiful. Very clean and well maintained. If your looking for a get away cabin experience I would highly recommend this property. We got to meet the owners and spend some time with them. They are great people. We hope to return.

Best Log Cabin EVER!
Six adults spent a wonderful 5 days at the log cabin. The pictures of the house are accurate...it's beautiful. The cabin had everything we needed. Gas logs gave a wonderful setting for evening chats. The dining area overlooks the wooded land and was the perfect setting for our meals. The beds and furnishings were all well above our expectations. We took several short walks into the hillside and enjoyed every minute. We ran out of time and didn't get to use the firepit which is located about 50 feet from the house. The owner made a visit to check on things and was very accommodating. The only negative may have been the lack of wifi and cellular service. Cellular service was available a couple hundred yards from the cabin. We were able to adjust easily! If you are looking for a quiet "get away" this is definitely the rental to consider.

Loved our stay!
We loved everything about our stay at the cabin. Everything was clean. The towels, sheets and pillows were also nice which was a plus! Perfect little getaway and place to unplug for a few days. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful cottage
The cottage is very nicely appointed with quality materials, great kitchen, laundry, and comfortable beds. The setting is beautiful with lots of hardwoods and quiet. They even had a stocked fire-pit with s'mores! Would have been even better with wifi and cell service was spotty.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at this property. The cabin is comfortable, clean, and well equipped. The owners are very responsive to any situation that might arise - (burned out reading lightbulb). The bedrooms are good sized and the bathrooms are very nice.

Great little getaway
Three college friends and I had a mini reunion here, and it was wonderful. So cozy, minutes from town, with beautiful parks nearby. It’s a relatively quiet, wooded spot, but be aware that the owners and other guests are on property, and they are quite close. We missed that in the listing. It did not heavily impact us, but if you are looking for more solitude, this may not be ideal. There was some vehicle noise from other guests off and on, and we crossed paths with the other guests and owners. The home is clean, roomy, and comfortable. It has everything you could need, and is well-maintained. We thorough enjoyed the atmosphere, the fireplace, and outdoor seating. Berkeley Springs is also a nice little spot to explore. Overall, a lovely experience!

Enjoy Nature and Recharge
This was a wonderful place to just take a break from life and recharge! Everything in the cabin is high quality. I don't even feel right calling it a cabin -- more like a cabin-mansion. The property is beautiful and very walkable. We saw lots of wildlife -- a turtle, deer, frogs, lizard. If you love nature but not really camping or "roughing it," this place is ideal! Our group (which includes two teenagers) definitely wants to return!

Lovely Place
This was an absolutely beautiful cabin in a peaceful location with decent amenities EXCEPT that WIFI did not work and there were minimal TV selections. We had one stormy day so that did not bode well for us. The only other thing that we would have preferred was a bit more privacy: while the owner was very nice to check on us a couple of times, we did not feel that it was necessary. We were looking for total privacy and, though he meant well, we would have preferred to have just that. Overall, a special place that could just use some minor tweaks.

Perfect restful getaway
Patty and Bill’s cabin on songbird lane was just what this group of moms were looking for as a weekend retreat. The cabin was fully equipped with dishes, firewood, towels, and comfortable sleeping arrangements for our group of 4. The outdoor area was well kept and the furniture was sturdy and comfy for mornings outside. The walk around the property was lovely and location convenient to the Main Street in town (about 12 min drive). Patty and Bill stopped in briefly to check on us and to keep us abreast of the area attractions. How nice! We would love to return to this beautiful place for our next getaway! Thank you Patty and Bill for a wonderful weekend!

Beautiful Home
The cabin was so welcoming and our hosts were attentive and very responsive. So many things were perfect for our getaway. The front porch, the back deck, the well-stocked kitchen, the beds and the ambiance in general. The cabin was also close to Berkeley Springs and the drive back and forth from the town to the cabin was beautiful. We are so glad we discovered this oasis of beauty.

no internet was disaster ..as we had a very critical incident in our family which we missed on time
we could not enjoy as you suppose as too many dos and don't . and back deck was not clean at all water clogged all the way all time we could not enjoy the deck at all..

The owners have added WiFi to the barn, which guests are welcome to use during their stay. - When it rains, the back deck can puddle at times. I have been a VRBO customer for many years- this was one of my family’s best experiences with a rental property. The owners are lovely and accommodating. The check-in/ check-out process is efficient and easy. The property is absolutely beautiful and the house is immaculate. The cleanliness of properties really matters to me, especially traveling with young children during the pandemic. The kitchen was well-stocked and the complimentary s’mores were greatly appreciated! We would love to stay here again.

Wonderful weekend getaway
This cabin was the perfect size for our group of 4 (with some room to spare!). The home was very clean, has great AC (which was helpful during our stay when it was 90 degrees out) and was close to the main attractions in Berkeley Springs. Our host made sure we were all set and gave plenty of directions and information. I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone looking to enjoy nature and the cute town!

Wow were do I start that house and property and private creek with gorgeous mountain view on way to the creek is just amazing I can assure u don't waste your time searching for something better cause it is as good as it gets only thing I would like to have next time I come back is a hot tub for them chilly mountain mornings the owners are super nice and take very good care of all the property and is nice to know they are near by thanks agin ill see u agin for sure

Gorgeous cabin and property!
We had a wonderful stay at the cabin which is exceptionally clean, spacious, and comfortable. The property is beautiful with opportunities for long walks and exploring the nearby creek. The owners have thought of every detail, down to providing a kit to make s'mores at the property's firepit. The location is great and close to town and Cacapon State Park. We look forward to returning soon!

For as great as all the photos are in the listing, it does not come close to really showing how great this house and property are. It also does not show the little details that make a property (IE: built in gas line to Weber Grill). The owners have taken a lot of time, effort and energy to make your stay really memorable. I am hesitant to write such a glowing review as then everyone will want to book the house, but the owners go out of their way for you and they deserve to have this place booked every week. Great Weekend!!!!!

Peaceful surrounding - Feels like home!
The home was so comfortable and we felt at peace being there right away. The home was very clean and with unique and beautiful decorations, but the right amount. Was not cluttered with decor. The property has rolling hills and pathways. We went when a snow storm hit and it could not have been more beautiful! The owners' home is through the trees but not very visible. They were amazing, kind and helpful, but also left you to yourselves. It's actually a good thing knowing the owners are within reach if necessary. Cell service was minimal but we could reach internet and calls most times by just walking up the driveway a little bit. Beds were extremely comfy! Water is soft, which is something we don't have at home so a bit of a luxury to our skin! We will absolutely be keeping this property on our list of places to revisit!

Property was beautiful and the house was immaculate. Anything you needed was already there from cooking supplies, to laundry detergent and they even had graham crackers and Hershey bars for smores. House was spacious with a cozy living room area with fireplaces and a dining room just off the living room. There are actually three houses on this property right next to each other, so you can come with a bigger group and all still be within just a few feet of each other. Overall we would definitely come back and would not hesitate to re-book this property.

Beautiful West Virginia Property
This is a delightful house in a gorgeous location. Clean, well appointed, and well stocked. The setting is relaxing with trees, hills, open views, deer grazing in the front yard, and a great deck. The only drawback is lack of good connectivity. The only internet is via cell phone and the data connection is both weak and random. Cell phone service is mostly available at the house and always available a short drive away to the top of the ridge behind the house. Just be certain you don't need or want a robust internet connection and you will absolutely love the place!

Perfect getaway!
This is a beautiful property -- perfect to get away from it all. We rented two of the available properties (cabin and apartment above garage) for a family member's 60th birthday. The cabin is very well appointed and nicely taken care of. We enjoyed the lovely front porch, deck, grill, stone fireplace up the hill and many acres for strolling the countryside. The owners are welcoming and helpful. We will be back!

The owners were very polite and helpful. The place was beautiful, clean, well maintained, and well stocked. The location is close to many outdoor adventures. Our family spent most of the time at Cacapon state park geocaching, swimming and trying their beautiful new mountain biking trails. There may be other renters on the property, so the pavilion with fire pit may need to be shared or coordinated, but that was easy to manage. My older kids enjoyed bike riding around the propriety with me and playing at the creek connected to the property.

A beautiful property with everything you need! The owners were very friendly and helpful! They left us with the makings for s’mores to use at their firepit and an assortment of board games and movies for rainy days. Lots of places to explore on foot and private roads for bike riding. Highly recommended!
