We paid for an upgraded room with old town view and were put in a standard room with no view. When we went back down to get shifted we were told no Superior rooms were available and put in a Junior Suite.
All was great until the next morning when we were suddenly woken by a massive alarm going off. We soon realized there was construction with pounding, sawing, drilling happening to the building right outside our window. To make it worse, the workers were playing loud music.
We called the front desk and were told that they were not supposed to be there so early. We asked if they could stop them and were told not possible. We asked for a refund. The front desk person told us only the manager could approve this. We asked to speak with the manager and were told he would arrive in 30 minutes.
He (Frank) never contacted us.
I went down to the lobby and was told by the person at the check in that Frank was in a meeting and that I should email him. I informed I was not leaving until we spoke.
She went and got him. Frank admitted that we were placed in part of the building that we should never have been assigned to; that there were other rooms available where we would not have had this issue.
He promised to not charge for our meals (he could not reimburse the room due to it being booked on Expedia) and that he would issue enough points for a future stay.
We got the bill via email a few hours later and we were charged afterall so we plan to contest with our CC company.

We are very disappointed with this stay.
We asked for a seaview room and got one on second floor facing a building and extremely noisey. Random people throwing stones at our windows it was horrible 😐
Great location with very spacious rooms for Europe.

Everything in the perfect place: the service, the breakfast, the room, the location and the decoration. We enjoyed the good food and cocktails at the restaurant-bar, and the excellent service. Overall, a good hotel, we recommend it.

Very neat property . Excellent location . Did not give 5 stars because check in and check out lanes were long due to peak travel season I am suspecting and the room became little bit hot at night and air conditioning did not hav controls to reduce temperature

The staff was most understanding when we dropped a day at the beginning of our reservation and added two more at the end. The floor we were on had several steps which we could not handle but staff carried our luggage down for us. Hotel looked a bit worn/ carpeting room interior

Overall the property is in a great location and you can walk everywhere. The hotel itself is nice enough, but not high end. The staff quality varies pretty drastically from some who really seem helpful to others that don't really care. Also be aware that the hotel is right behind a nightclub so on Friday and Saturday there is very loud music blaring until 3am. The staff did nothing to warn us about this or offer to put us in a room further away from the noise.

Very nice hotel. Right at beautiful downtown Bergen's picturesque Wharf. Great central location. Attractive restaurant, with a nice separate cocktail lounge. Somewhat decent gym upstairs, though it would've been a lot better had management there kept the gym open 24 hours .

The staff was excellent and more than accommodating to our requests and very helpful.
I would seek out this Hotel again. It is centrally located and walkable. Make sure to visit the market across the water and open air food market.

A modern hotel that put style above function. There were no drawers or wardrobe for clothes, just 6 hangers on the wall. With a bathroom bigger than most bedrooms this felt poorly thought out. For an expensive hotel there was no minibar and the safe didn't work.
We had 3 very disturbed nights due to an injured bird crying on the flat roof outside our window. There was easy access to remedy this problem but despite reporting it no action was taken.

We checked in on line at 6 am and we arrived at 10 am , Since we had an early flight . We were told room will not be available before 3 pm . Understand that very well .
They have 2 line at the reception.
One for check-in on line and Radisson Blu members. The other for regular Check-in customers. After 3 pm I went to get my room key at ( on line ) check in .
I was told to go and stand at the other line.
I never thought of being a member of Radisson. Sicne I only use Hotels.com
Bottom line be a member of Radisson Blue , you will be treated well with bottle of water and with you luggage . Having said all that we had a Great view from our Junior Suite room and hotel location is also great.

Included buffet breakfast included so many choices, all marked with allergen information. Excellent variety and quality. Very nice location next to Bergen Harbor--a fun place to walk! I would definitely stay there again!
Hint: taxis are expensive, but "07000 taxi company" was the most reasonable. The Flybussen is much cheaper; ask fot the one that stops in front of this hotel.
