"The cottage is very basic and dated, but the location can’t be beat. It is a lovely, quiet spot (secluded, even) between Kenmare and Sneem. No internet, no frills, but the owners are very nice and the cottage had everything that we needed. We found the bed to be quite hard. We really enjoyed our stay."

"A fantastic experience. The beach for the children was a homerun! They spent all day hunting for lipids, mussels & clams. The sauna was going was so refreshing after a dip in the pool and bay. A daily ritual. Seal cottage was lovely and most comfortable. Tomas and Margrite(sp) were very helpful. We were there for over 3 weeks and hated to leave! We will return. 5 stars!"

"Beautiful home with amazing views! This home had everything needed for our party of four. The owners are the kindest people you will meet. We stayed for a week and we were quite sad to leave. "We had a wonderful stay at Skellig Bay Cottage! The house was spacious and comfortable and had everything that we needed. The location was perfect for relaxing in front of the views and short day trips to all of the sights. Our favorite part of the house was the large ocean front window. "Hosted by the loveliest people, we adored our stay here. We loved the big, comfy couches to sit around the fire on in the evening, a large gravel driveway for the kids to play ball on, three toilets to make bathroom sharing easier in a family of 5 and wifi and lots of TV stations to pick from. Our hosts put the picnic table out when the weather got warm and stopped by to see us on our way and really made us feel like part of the family!"
