" Breakfast was exceptional esp. the french toast and the juice of the day. Our room with the jacuzzi was phenomenal, beautiful view, fresh towels every day and night, the rainforest shower was a sheer pleasure. Do yourself a favor, book a stay at this beautiful resort so that you too can experience the most warm and welcoming staff. "
"Great place, but old and dated. The golf course across the street is completely rundown and overgrown. I wouldn’t stay here again. I feel sorry for the amazing staff who are awesome."
"We had a great stay at Fiji palms the staff are all amazing, friendly and helpful, the garden staff do such a great job of maintaining the beautiful grounds, the restaurant staff Elvin, Dee, Linda to mention a few there were others who we didn't grab their names that were all fantastic, the reception staff helped us work out bus routes and tours and were so knowledgeable they made the stay so relaxing and the perfect place to unwind not overrun with tourists, close to shops and a dive centre. A little maintenance required here and there but we would visit again in a heartbeat 💓 "
"Onsite hosts Sam and Moreen were so wonderful! We got all the inside tips about Pacific Harbor from them including beach access, where to buy fresh fish and activities in the area. Moreen made me cassava so that I could learn to cook with it and Sam brought is fresh coconuts when we were by the beautiful (and huge) landscaped pool. The kindness of the people here is what we loved about Fiji the most! The house was so comfortable and finished beautifully with hardwood flooring and interior ceilings. The beds were very comfortable and even the pillows were new and fluffy which is a rare and appreciated find on any trip. And my husband was thrilled that the AC units were cranking!Another rare and appreciated aspect was the modern kitchen and abundance of appliances including good knives and a sharpener, an oven and even an air fryer just to name a few. Pacific Harbor also did not disappoint. The new shopping center and movie theater will be a great addition to the area. The shark diving was a once in a lifetime experience that words truly cannot do justice to. We found numerous fantastic restaurants and of course the fresh fish and cassava that our hosts helped with along with the local mangos, avocados and other roadside produce made food exciting, accessible and delicious.Leaving Fiji along with Sam and Moreen and all the other wonderful locals we met broke my heart a little so will be looking forward to coming back to Fiji and back to here to stay! Royal Davui Island Resort, Adults Only, Meals Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"This place is a true gem, from the staff to the food to the rooms. It is outstanding. I would caveat that it’s not for everyone, there are limited options of food, there’s no room service, and some of the staff returns home every night.
If you’re expecting a 24 seven full attention luxury resort this is not the place if he wants somewhere that is of exceptional quality with a lot of space for yourself and a bit more relaxed this is great.
The staff is outstanding and extremely friendly, and the small number of guests and staff makes this a much more interesting stay than anything else. The pool is incredible, the rooms are beautiful and very comfortable, and the reef and sea is a true highlight. We are already planning our next trip back."
"The hotel was greatly priced and convenient location for a wedding event we attended. It’s a little rundown in the room, our terrace door didn’t lock and had a gaping hole in the fly screen and the breakfast was quoted at FJD $34 for 1 extra person, and for what we received, I probably wouldn’t even have pay FJD $15 for"
"The customer service is top notch. Great staff. The Bare's are quite nice and the dorm could use a little love with the screens / lockers, but overall the Bula Bula vibe is real and the location is amazing- right on the beach - not far to Aquatrek- where I highly recommend the shark diving!"
