We were in a twin room which was very small although it had a shower room and toilet, cupboard and shelves and coat hooks. Good for a night or two but not a long stay. "Front of house Vijay could not have been more helpful. We asked to upgrade room and was moved immediately. Room 17 was spacious with views over the garden. The lounge’s atmospheric- antiques and cabinets full of whiskey bottles. Set price dinner £34 for two courses was excellent. Good delicious and well worth a visit. Same for cooked breakfast. Top notch"

"We loved our stay at the Columba Hotel! The staff was friendly & helpful. The room was clean & cozy. The bed & pillows were really comfortable . We’ve been to other hotels where the pillows were ultra thin. Sounds silly , but the thin pillows affected my sleeping. One thing I loved was how peaceful the rooms were, you couldn’t hear other guests. We also had a great view of the river."
