« You can't find a better location if you want to be in the heart of downtown Galena for a reasonable price.
The air conditioning is a window unit in the front room, but the host provides plenty of fans.
There are two bedrooms, but the first has cut-outs in the upper walls, and the second doesn't have a door right now, so privacy is limited.
The living/dining area is very spacious and comfortable. »

« The location was perfect, just a short walk from downtown. The Artistic Retreat was exceptionally clean, and the bed was very comfortable, making for a relaxing stay. We especially enjoyed using the sauna, which was an added bonus. During one of our walks downtown, we had the pleasure of meeting the owners. It was fascinating to learn about the history of the property and hear about their impressive artistic backgrounds. We highly recommend the Artistic Retreat. »
