"Property is beautiful, and felt like home. Owner was very responsive to last minute issues. Very close to the bus stop. Once you are in the COMO area, be ready to walk. The UBER, Taxi are not reliable at all and the bus service is very poor during the day, but runs free service at night after 7/730 pm, which is pretty regular and nice. Will stay here again on my next visit as well, may be will bring less luggage... lol."

"This place is one the best ones in which we have ever stayed: very spacious and comfortable, with lots of useful equipment (especially for children) and a great kitchen. The view on the mountains is wonderful, the village is very quiet and nice, and the hosts were very friendly and helpful, welcoming us with delicious cheese and local products. "We loved this lovely apartment. It was very clean with all the amenities. The views were breathtaking! There was a heat wave while we were there and the air conditioning was such a welcomed relief. Carla our host was easy to reach and very helpful. We had a car and were able to park on premises. It is a hike down to Varenna and if you drive the road is very narrow with many sharp turns but so worth it !"

"Wonderful apartment, very cute and quiet village. Very clean, comfortable, safe. Communication excellent. I recommend you have a rental car. I didn't and it is a 15-min/ 1km hike up from the very reliable and inexpensive ferry and train. It took me (not young and used to the US suburbs) a day to get acclimatized to this - it is an alpine village. The town of Lierna and this apartment are perfectly suited to day hikers. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The hotel and room were both clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating of all our requests. We loved the beach club with access to the lake and their floating dock as well as their pool. The drinks and food were all delicious. The hotel is a romantic hotel. The town and hotel were a beautiful experience. Highly recommend."
