I had a half marathon run in the day of our checkout and host kindly let us stay longer for me to move back from Regua and have a shower and lunch! Really loved it! And the House is really cozy and comfortable, lot of fancy plates, ceramics and nice details. Breakfast isn't quite big, but delicious - huge variety of home made jams, fresh bread and cheese. Ymmy! "This is a BEAUTIFUL place to stay. More house than hotel! It appears to be totally renovated and the decor is gorgeous. The view of the pool and the mountains in the distance were wonderful. Our room was spacious and the shower was fabulous. It is located in a very small town with just two restaurants, neither of which were open, so we went to a quaint market within walking distance for cheese, wine, etc. Everything was great. Monsanto was a quick drive away."

"The apartment is located near the university and thus we spent out two days visiting the nearby garden and university. The apartment was above average with the only negative being the ceiling height due to our apt being in the attic. The roof support beams were low and you were liable to hit your head on these beams."

"Reception staff were really helpful when we arrived early,eg let us park in car park and use toilet. The apartment had a lovely sea view and a comfy sofa. It was plenty large enough for two people but did need updating. The bed especially so as it was creaky and uncomfortable, spoiling our experience to a certain degree. The kitchen was very basic and had no preparation space without us moving the microwave out of the way, it was in need of a major upgrade."
