It is was to be the last hotel we stayed at for our last three days in Beijing. We ended up staying one night and leaving by 6am to head to another hotel. If the Beijing subway system was opening all night we wouldn't have made it through the night. The staff was very nice but outside of "passport" they knew no English. The hotel room was old and not really kept up. The room seemed clean but all of the surfaces were sticky. The main problem was how loud the hotel was at night. I woke up over 15 times due to banging outside, barking dogs, kids running up and down the halls and other hotel guests (or maybe even staff, we couldn't tell) yelling. All of this was taking place between 11pm-6am. It's not top luxury, but it's clean, and the staff is pleasant. My room was looking to the back of a taller building, something that seemed to be a former KTV (karaoke) and had a big fire, so the sight was not pretty.
