Amenities are a bit older but the property is undergoing upgrades to the gardens at the moment and the owners explained they will be renovating inside next. The living space has a great table and chairs, comfortable couches and good smart TV with Netflix etc. Everything was well maintained and cleaned and the view is great, overlooking a pond with ducks and ibis. Birds and rabbits abound. Only annoyance was the toilet that has a strange rise in floor height right where your feet should go for a male. The bed was comfortable and so was the couch. We enjoyed sitting on the veranda looking out over the country garden, listening to birds, watching the rabbits hop by and just relaxing. We went for a walk along Gorge Road. The cottage is very close to the town as well so we enjoyed a lovely dinner there. Comfortable and very spacious self-contained unit. Mid-winter freeze but unit was toasty warm with efficient heating. Only suggestion would be to provide some basics such as salt, pepper and maybe some other kitchen staples. However very good supply of utensils in kitchen. It was almost like being at home, with everything you could need in the kitchen, a full laundry, BBQ out the back and lovely gardens and surrounds. The owners were friendly and helpful.
