Great hotel great price rooms

As hotels go it’s not a bad room nice shower room Pub is what it is from a spoons . Down side is parking in multi story is expensive in my opinion

We generally like staying in Wetherspoons properties as generally they are very nicely finished. We have stayed here several times, unfortunately the room we were allocated absolutely reeked of smoke even though it's obviously illegal . That said they promptly moved us to another room which was great and smell free. However on the entire 2nd floor there was also a strong smell of smoke. Some people hey. Otherwise all good.

Quality Rooms
This was our first time in a Wetherspoon hotel but it won’t be the last. We were impressed with the overall quality and facilities in the room and by the welcome when we arrived. The only downside was that the bed was a little hard.

A truly pleasant and wonderful experience from check-in to check-out. I was attending the local university as a guest speaker and lecturer and the university booked me into the local accommodation which was here. My initial special request when booking was immediately noted when checking-in with nothing but courtesy. My work was overflowing and so my stay needed to be extended and again with nothing but kindness and courtesy the staff extended my stay not only allowing me to remain in my original room but at a discounted rate too. Each and every day the rooms were cleaned to the highest standards with clean towels and linen and even the biscuits and water replenished every day without fail. Not only did the room make my stay here really comfortable but it was the happy, caring and customer focused staff too. Highly recommend and I look forward to stay here again.

Amazing overnight stay

Very central location in Bedford and quite well sound-proofed but anti-social behaviour in some parts in the vicinity at night. Hotel staff were good as were some but not all bar staff. Two of the younger female bar staff managed to avoid any please or thank-you on several occasions. Several of the older male and female staff though were excellent. No free water supplied in rooms as advertised, only one chocolate sachet and had to request a second towel both days but rooms were spotless and well-maintained. Would stay again.

Absolutely brilliant. Accessible room was huge, massive comfy bed, great walk in shower and so clean. I wasnt expecting much om my first stay at a Wetherspoons but I was impressed. Highly Recommended.

Pilgrims Progress by Wetherspoon, Bedford
I needed to stay one night after a wedding reception so the hotel was perfect for me. It was clean, good value for money and near the venue. It was in town so there was some noise, which was to be expected. Very happy with stay and would stay again.

Great hotel.
Stayed here due to working close by, this is in a good location for shopping and restaurants to both eat out and order in. I stayed in a family room which was very big and had air conditioning. The bathroom was great as it had both a shower and bath which were separate and also quite modern. Parking was across the road in the shopping centre which was around £15 per night, there were other car parks that may have been cheaper but this one felt more secure.

Surprisingly good
The overall standard was excellent - much better than I was expecting. The only thing that marred our stay was that there was a smell of stale smoke in the room which we reported to reception on our departure. It seemed more noticeable when the sir con was on - possibly the filters needed changing.

Nicely decorated, spacious, comfortable room. Modern bathroom, good facilities and little extras such as hot chocolate, biscuits and bottled water make for a pleasant stay. Very close to the shopping area and pubs.
