« Many years ago, my wife and I had meals here when we lived in St Neots which were much enjoyed, but given we moved away from the area, it's been a long time. My daughter lives in St Neots again now and I needed a place to stay overnight. Having used Premier Inns generally, if the price was right, I decided to book, but was astounded to find they wanted £150 for a Tuesday night! I had noticed the extention on the Eaton Oak many times, and managed to get a room at a very reasonable price of £84...

« The property is well located with multi storey car park nearby and the river views very welcoming. Check in late at night was a bit hap hazard, mainly due to process changes but when we really wanted to get to bed it was a bit delayed. The bed was comfy, shower very good and over all very comfortable. »

« The hotel overall is excellent, clean and the decor is beautiful. However, there are two minor issues that hold it back. Firstly, not being able to change the temperature in the room was a problem for me, as it was too hot on both nights I stayed in the room. Secondly, I do not know what was going on in the restaurant on Saturday night but it was chaos. There were three tables around me, and myself, and all four orders were wrong. « Check in was the worst customer experience I have seen in many years. I arrived in front of the welcome desk, the lady was busy on her computer, she did not greet me, kept eyes on her screen for a few minutes. Another customer was waiting with me being totally ignored too and not being greeted too. Then the front desk lady looked at me and only asked “what’s the name ?” No “hello” no “sorry for the wait” no “how was your day today” only “what’s the name !” Clearly this person has not been...

« l'acceuil est excellent , mais l'ambiance est morose , et , horreur ,ils ferment tout chauffage dans la chambre à partir de la soirée !!! le lit est pourvu dun drap et d'une couette beaucoup trop fines, j'ai gelé , je n'ai pas fait de remarque parceque ca ne sert à rien,mon compagnon a fait les mèmes remarques , chambre 15 et 16 , »

« Very bad experience. It's not a 4 starts hotel, it's just an overpriced AirBnB, no breakfast, no services at all. Also rude staff who didn't provide any info about the property and surroundings. The check-in consisted in a rude woman who handed the key, rushed us into the room and left. They didn't even provide the wifi password. This is not the way to treat guests. To avoid at all costs, despite the beautiful location. »
