The room was clean and spacious but most of the equipment in the gym/spa didn’t work. The indoor pool is not heated so not useable. The breakfast was not great they had a poor selection, and anemic chicken sausage, cold eggs, oat meal was almost out. The staff was pleasant and did thier best to accommodate but the hotel needs to fix the amenities advertised it was disappointing

Room card key repeatedly did not work on exercise room. Wifi sign in and security issues and ended up not using at all. From second floor room only one emergency fire exit stairwell at one extreme end of building Good breakfast buffet. Excellent mexican/cajun restaurant next door.

Great electric car chargers on property!!

It was a great place to stay with an electric car on a road trip. They have about 6 tesla chargers and with an adapter we were able to charge for free while we stayed there. Breakfast was decent and the bed was comfortable.

The hotel is super clean. The small suite is very spacious and has all the amenities. There’s a small store downstairs with basic food items. Very nice hotel on a highway. There are two or theee restaurants within walking distance. But Winnie is a super small town with not much to do

Starting to show its age...still good

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the past few years. The hotel is a good place to stay, however it is becoming dated. It is convenient for overnight stay for travel on to the Galveston cruise port. The bedding is clean but not as crisp as newer items. I will probably still stay there as it is comfortable and convenient.

Reliable brand for a good night’s sleep

I chose Hampton Inn because it is a reliable brand. I was not disappointed. The first room we checked into had a problem with the toilet, but the manager responded immediately and moved us to a different room. Everything else went smoothly as expected.

Had issues w/ tv not working, there was no cable box. Staff was gracious, she gave us another room immediately. Overall: clean room, polite staff. The elevator did not work a few times which was no fun as we are seniors and we were on the 3rd floor. The woman who helps a/ breakfast and cleans the main entry area was such a lovely lady-she’s a great asset to your hotel.
