"This hotel had its pros and cons. Pros: The hotel itself was clean and athletically pleasing.The staff were friendly, helpful, and immediately responded to our concerns.The room was clean upon arrival. There is a sauna and pool onsight,which we used almost everyday to relax.Breakfast was good,with a decent amount of food/drink options, but the food selections were the same everyday.Another huge Pro is the location of the hotel. It’s right across the street from Central Station and is within walking distance of many of the locations we wanted to visit-such as the 9 Streets of Jordaan,the Ann Frank House,numerous museums,canal cruises,markets,and the Red Light District. Cons: The first room to which we were assigned had a few problems.The flush on the flush on the toilet broke,there was a flickering light,and the teapot had not been cleaned.When we brought this to the attention of the staff,they immediately switched our room and the new room was great.Another issue was with the TV.When using the casting feature,it frequently stopped working.With the frustration of casting,we decided to rent a movie; however,no movies to select were available. When brought to the staff’s attention, a representative came to our room within 15 minutes to help us troubleshoot.We resolved the casting feature,but we were unable to rent movies.The last issue we had was with housekeeping. There was 1 day (of 4) we were out all day and housekeeping never came. Upon notifying staff, someone was sent up."

"Amazingly good breakfast buffet with a wide range of hot and cold options. The hotel is located in a quiet area of the city that is easy to get to using public transport or taxi. I would happily return to this hotel."

"After my trip to Iceland was canceled I scrambled to find this stay in Amsterdam and I was impressed super clean rooms there is construction but I was able to have my scheduled meetings. No room service but thats okay as there is a restaurant attached to the hotel. Overall decent stay clean rooms"

"we absolutely loved this hotel. its warm and modern (yet also cool retro) design felt fancy but not stuffy. the front desk was very helpful with everything we needed. there was complimentary sparkling and still water for when we arrived. they also supply complimentary coffee, tea, milk and sugar in the room. the bed was super comfortable, the black out drapes made it easy to sleep in late and the shower had great pressure. the breakfast had lots of options and quality food. very delicious. one of the best things was that public transportation was incredibly easy - only like a 4 minute walk to the metro that takes you anywhere in the city. my only small issue was that the restaurant staff misgendered me multiple times. i know this is a luxury problem and most likely will not affect my staying here again but coming from NYC, i guess i expected a cool hip hotel in amsterdam to be a little more forward thinking. overall the hotel was an excellent experience and we will stay again."
