"The Buffalo Bill Suite was sweet! We walked in and immediately loved the place, It was perfect for my 96-year-old father and myself. And! Yes! The kitchenette was actually functional. We had all we needed to make our breakfast and lunch and of course we had to eat at the steakhouse for dinner. The waitress, Z and the cook were fantastic, too. Many thanks for our perfect accommodations and being right at the City of Rocks!"

"What a gem! Don't hesitate/wait to book this property! Rooms are spotless over sized suites with separate sitting area, dining table and kitchenette. Comfortable beds, free coffee in room, covered front and back porches which view the mountains. There is a restaurant on site (recommend the bacon blue cheese burger and fries) and pizza from Rock City Mercantile down the street (unbelievable beer selection). The restaurant menu prices are higher, but you're in the middle of a remote section of Idaho! Property is 10-15 minutes away from two incredible outdoor recreation areas-City of Rocks National Reserve and Castle Rocks State Park. We hiked for miles while others rock climbed and explored in ATVs. Alamo Inn is top notch. Loved our stay."

"Cozy little place for sure. We needed place close to City of Rocks.had everything we needed. Couple of suggestions for the host and guests. A little trash can for the portopotty. One of the bed is on the loft..ladder to get to it is tricky to get down. Unlees you're 6ft tall and strong enough to left over head, let the host know you be using. Otherwise you'd have message the host. Response was quick for us but things come up sometimes. Overall, happy and will stay again. "

"Everything was so perfect for our family! There were four families sharing this home and we used it all! We could not use the access code on the front door but the back door worked and was great. If we had a question or problem the host was very quick to respond. The home is comfortable and very well appointed. We had everything we needed and more. It was very convenient to our wedding venue. We would definitely recommend this home to any large family."

"Owners called to personall check in on us before the stay. They upgraded us for free to their largest cottage. Everything was as advertised. My daughter and I had a nice relaxing evening. P. S. "Place was nice and host was quick to respond to any questions we had. We had to bring our dog with us and the back yard was securely fenced with large trees and Big! We threw her Kong ball every night and she loved it. The view from the backyard was beautiful too."
