Very nice 2 night stay. Street the hotel is on is not that pretty, but it's a very short walk to the older part of town. Excellently appointed room and breakfast offering.

Fabulous hotel in the heart of Basel, within walking distance from the old city centre precinct. The staff were friendly and wonderful. There is a limited amount of parking onsite, but not for the faint-hearted, as the car park is narrow and the parking spaces are small.

This is a hotel that delivers. It is understated yet sophisticated. Breakfast in the lobby is a delight. The air conditioning was super efficient although appreciated with an outside air temperature of 33 I had to open the window to warm the room up. Bus 30 to and from the station is a bonus. For those with cardiac or lung problems the steps down to the town are challenging. That said this is a hotel you would want to stay at again,
