« I want to start out by saying that the staff at the front desk were amazing! Super friendly and incredibly helpful. I have zero complaints about the folks who work there - they are wonderful. We were coming in for a graduation at OU. ALL of the hotels in the area completely gouge the prices and more than triple their rates. The Thunderbird was VERY reasonable. A little info about the Lodge: This place is old and dated! If you don't smoke, make sure you are reserving a nonsmoking room!! ...

« The room was very clean and the room was large. The bed was very comfortable, so a very good value. »

« I can tell there is a change over in management since my last stay. Cleanliness was hit-or-miss. There was a trash can sitting in the hall next to the elevators on the fourth floor that was crawling in ants. I had to report it three times (once a day for three days) before anyone took care of the problem. The tables and the countertops in the dining area were dirty! I had to clean them myself in order to use the area. »

« Was bitten by bugs within 30 minutes of arriving the room. Told management I wanted a refund. They hesitated at first but after seeing the bites on my wife’s legs, and photos of the bugs on the carpet and bed, they agreed and provided a refund! »
