"there was a major plumbing leak when we stayed there so areas were blocked. We had to change rooms at 11pm and there was a leak in air conditioner until overnight in the second room. We reported to staff but the response was very nonchalant."

"This was a really beautiful hotel to stay at. It’s located very close to the bridge Ponte Luis 1 which allows for very beautiful views and easy access to crossing over to the Ribeira side and walking to restaurant and shops. The room and bathroom was clean. The staff was very helpful in booking a taxi for me on the day I left. I stayed here solo and always felt very safe. I wish I could have spent more days here!"

"We were greeted by very nice staff who were able to speak English which is always nice since we are still learning Portuguese. They were all captivated with our puppy and were excited to have us there. Everyone was very helpful. But then to my surprise we were given a free upgrade to a suite. The suite was very nice and it was nice to have so much room with the puppy. After checking in room staff brought a dog bed, a little bowl, and a bone. That was such a special thoughtful service. There is also food places nearby. We had pizza at a little place that we walked to in town center. We enjoyed the place so much we will be using it again this week."
