Overall our stay was great. It would be nice especially with drastic temperature changes if we could adjust the temp without calling for it to be changed. A working ice maker would also be an asset. The kitchen was very well stocked a real plus since we like to cook.

Bourbon Retreat
This is the second straight year, my five friends and I have stayed here. We absolutely love this home. There can't possibly be anything nearby that rivals these accommodations! The house is immaculately appointed. Seriously. This house has everything. The people before you have paid it forward and left you what they needed. You don't need to bring much! The property is sprawling. if you are visiting distilleries, you don't have the time to explore the entirety of this property. It's is beautiful, secluded, but close to distilleries. Read my prior review. I can't recommend this place enough, and the owners are attentive and appreciative. Don't skimp. This is your bourbon headquarters. Book and enjoy!!!!

Amazing Property & Home
Beautiful private grounds to wander & located away from town but a short drive to many attractions, distilleries, restaurants etc. Don't miss the waterfall tucked past the meadow & a short walk from the house. Nature lovers will be very happy here! The home was built and is maintained with attention to every detail both respecting the beauty of site & creature comfort's inside. Bedrooms, Kitchen, Bathrooms & Gathering areas are immaculate, decorated with interesting furnishings & personal collections. Our group of four couples enjoyed every moment here!

Annual Best Friend Trip!
The property was absolutely beautiful. Exactly as it was pictured. The kitchen area was the perfect place to gather and cook. The bedroom layout gave us all enough space and the ability to get ready without being on top of each other. The house was beautiful! We definitely recommend it and will be back again if ever in the area!

Birthday on the bourbon trail
We enjoyed our beautiful home in Bardstown. We had a group of friends celebrating a birthday & touring local distilleries. The home was beautiful and in a country setting. Yet we were close enough to town & distilleries. We enjoyed playing cards in the dining room & walking the grounds. The owner was super responsive & made our stay perfect.

Everything you need for a relaxing and fun getaway
We had a lovely stay at the Bourbon Estate with 8 adults. There is plenty of space inside and out to spread out or spend time together. We enjoyed our morning coffee and time winding down before bed on the sun porch. We played games and ate dinner in the spacious dining room. The kitchen was perfect for cooking for a big crowd and has everything you would need for cooking and serving. It was extremely hot when we visited but we still enjoyed walking around the meadow and up the driveway early mornings and in the evening. We saw deer in the meadow multiple times. Getting to any of the distilleries or Bardstown was really easy, I don’t think anything was more than 10 minutes away by car. We would easily visit again maybe when it’s a bit cooler so we can spend more time outside.

Bourbon Trail Trip
The property and house are wonderful! The location was perfect for our family trip. The house itself is very spacious and comfortable and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was full of everything you might need. We also enjoyed the back patio and gas grill. Deborah was prompt in responding to any messages. I do wish we had longer to stay so we could have explored more of the property....next time! Definitely recommend!

My husband and I came with our 24 year old and 3 of his friends to do the Bourbon Trail before our son heads off to grad school. The house was lovely. We had plenty of space for everyone and the kitchen and grill and dining room made for lovely breakfasts and dinners after our days exploring.

Perfect Place to Stay
This was the perfect place for our group of 8! We were able to grill out on the patio, and had tons of room for board games inside. We really enjoyed the location as it was close to town for food and exploring, but also very quiet and serene. Definitely recommend and hope to return in the future!

Guys Weekend in Bourbon Country
Six of us drove down from Chicago for a long weekend. I was looking for a home that would not only accommodate us but make us feel like we were getting away from reality for a while. This home was a dream. The house and property are splendid, sitting on a sprawling and secluded lot, complete with wild turkey (the live ones, not the bourbon!). We were one with nature when outside, but inside! The house is beautifully appointed! Everything one would need was already provided for us. We were able to cook a gourmet dinner in that kitchen while cocktailing, and the space was large enough that we weren't bumping into each other. The living room had a large TV where we were able to watch the NFL draft without sitting on top of one another. We slept like rocks after having bourbon on the rocks. We were minutes from several distilleries and close enough to cab it to Jim Beam and Maker's Mark. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back. This time for a longer stay!

Thanksgiving in Bourbon Country
Our family gathered at Meadow Creek Place to celebrate Thanksgiving. The location was perfect, about 45 minutes from Louisville and 3 hours from Fort Campbell. Bardstown is an historic town with beautiful architecture and lots to do in its quaint square. We enjoyed participating in the Turkey Trot and having an old fashioned chocolate soda at Hurts Drug Store. The property was like entering a magical meadow. Secluded and well manicured. We enjoyed walks in the woods, star gazing, and long chats on the two fantastic porches. The men kept a fire going in the large fireplace and played hours of guitar as grandma, aunts, and nieces prepared our Thanksgiving feast in the amazing kitchen. There was ample space for all the helpers and the kitchen table was perfect for a thrilling game of rummy. The location is a quick 8 minutes into town with easy access to a large Kroger grocery store. Numerous distilleries dot the landscape to satisfy all tastes! Can’t say enough about how attentive the hosts were. Quick to answer every inquiry and respond to our needs. Everyone in our group was complimentary of the house and property. Beds were comfortable and had high quality linens. Water pressure in showers was complimented on by many in the group! Highly recommend this location and hosts! Thank you for allowing our family to make very special memories in your beautiful home!

Wonderful Property
It was our second stay here. So impressed the first time- we had to come back. Wonderful property to explore- beautiful porch to relax on outside - kitchen is the perfect gathering spot- and all the spices and pans and small appliances we needed. I can't recommend this property enough!

Beautiful Estate Home
What a beautiful home. Every room had incredible detail with fine architecture. It was the perfect escape nestled in the woods. The views were gorgeous. You are nestled in the woods, however within minutes to downtown Bardstown, and all the distilleries. It is a perfect home if you have a large family or children, or just an escape with your significant other.

This property was perfect for our group of 6 couples staying in Bardstown to celebrate a milestone birthday. The home was perfectly beautiful and wish we had more time to explore the expansive surrounding property (although we did get to see deer nearly every time we came or left). Everything was perfect from the location to the home layout to the amenities available. We had originally planned to do meals in town, but after 5 minutes in the kitchen, we quickly changed course and did all but 1 meal at the house. Communication was very timely and helpful. We couldn't have picked a better spot for our stay in Bardstown!!

Beautiful Home on Amazing Grounds
This home was perfect for our girls trip to Bardstown. The perfect location for the Bourbon Trail & town. The living space was huge…the kitchen stocked with everything you could possibly need. The large back deck was perfect for cocktails & dining out. Hiked the grounds which included waterfalls, beautiful fall flora & wild life. Sleeping accommodations were comfortable & the house was decorated beautifully. The house was immaculate & provided all the amenities . Perfect home for our family gathering
The house was sized well for three couples and three singles. The living room was great for casual conversations in the large group. We also loved the cozy corners - rocking chairs on the covered front porch, the sun room and the breakfast area. There were two tables with six chairs each on the side porch so we could share dinners together outside. Kentucky cooperated with perfect weather. The house will always be part of our memories of much-needed special family time.

We loved this place so much we stayed again later in the summer. It was close to town, but felt "far from everything" in the best kind of way. The house is beautiful, with a huge kitchen, beautiful sun porch, and expansive yard. Comfy beds. Easily feels immediately welcoming, warm, luxurious.

Beautiful retreat in a fantastic forest in the hills of Kentucky!
We had all three adult children, two spouses and 2 young grandchildren with us in this spacious and beautifully decorated family home. The kitchen is huge and equipped for the gourmet cook (our son is a NYC chef). The secluded location is down in a ravine about 8 miles outside of Bardstown. The house is surrounded by huge trees and landscaped with all manner of flowering plants and shrubs. Very quiet, lots of birds, butterflies, and wildlife. Truly away from it all, yet close to a championship golf course, a state park, and history and art museums. Of course right in the middle of Bourbon Country. We all had a wonderful week together!

Convenient location. Beautiful property. My only complaint would be the 6th bedroom was literally a closet with storage boxes and shelfing to hang clothes and no curtains on the window. To get to this room you had to cut through another person's bedroom. Otherwise it was most amazing!!!!

This place was stunning! We were a group traveling the Kentucky Bourbon Trail for my husbands birthday. There were several distilleries close by which was nice. Our favorite thing was hanging out on the front porch and relaxing. We will definitely be back!!!

Beautiful property, great for families to share.
We were in town for a baseball tournament and shared the house with another family. Plenty of room for everyone. They property is close to downtown Bardstown and the bourbon trail. The owner sent us information about what was happening in town during our stay. Home was clean and well equipped with everything you need. So nice to sit on the front porch in the rockers or in the sunroom for morning coffee. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
