Great location easy to walk everywhere in the Gothic Quarter, easy to checkin and check-out. I would say beware of the AC though. We went when the weather was in the 70s (F) and we opened the windows and got a really pleasant breeze all day. But the AC was not what one gets in the States, it was quite faint even at full power and it is centrally controlled by the front desk staff. So I would hesitate to recommend this location in the hotter summer days. Staff was helpful and kind, and it was nice to get daily room service.

This place charged me over $650 for the first night for the very basic room (the room was still available at $220 in Expedia when I checked in) and over $440 on the 2nd night for a very small tiny old bedroom with a smelly bathroom, 2 big columns were blocking in the middle of the bedroom so the room is even smaller for 2 adults. Only because I booked ahead of time I had to pay full for the first night anyway. The place was not worth over $200 even considering its location is near the La Rambla. There was no voluntary VIP access so I requested the promised wine on the next day and room upgrade which was slightly bigger than basic room. Their breakfast needs improvement. Not many options compared to where I stayed in the other hotels for the same trip.

Great stay
Ideal location right in the center, steps away from airport bus and La Rambla. Front desk woman that checked us in was super nice. Room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Beautiful view of the city.

Lovely!
Great spot, right off Plaza de Catalunya. Great connections for trains, walkable to tourist attractions and the Gothic Quarter. Hotel itself was clean, modern, and felt comfortable. Room was of a good size, clean, and with good facilities.

Good potential bad experience.
I have stayed in the hotel and the facilities are OK, however, there are 2 comments I have: 1. Breakfast was not starting on time, and the eggs were cold (in the 2 days I stayed), coffee machine was not working well, the guy had to fix it during the breakfast. 2.When it was time to check out, I have forgotten a bag in the room with a bottle of wine, came afternoon to ask for the bag, but in the hotel they told me it was not found. This is impossible, I know exactly where it was left, not something that can be missed when you clean the room. In any case, it was not found.

We had an incredible room with a beautiful terrace looking over Barcelona. The bed and linens were super comfy and we slept so well. Staff were very nice, bathroom excellent- location great and everything spotless and spacious. Highly recommend!

The hotel style room we booked was full so they upgraded our room free of charge to an amazing room with a terrace over looking the city! Amazing staff and great hotel. I would recommend and stay again!

Barely a 3* hotel with paper walls
The best feature of this hotel is its location. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Cleaning is effective. Beds are very comfortable. But otherwise… it is barely a 3* hotel: rooms have no coffee machine or basic utensils like shoe horn or shoe polish. Windows in our room could not be closed (broken handles) and the legs of the table were about to fall. Condition of the 2nd floor is rather worn. The bathroom soap container fell with the first touch. The drain cover kept moving as you showered. After a sleepless night because of the noise from outside, we were moved to room with closeable windows. But noise was coming from the nextdoor room - simply because walls are paper thin. At 3AM I had to get up and bang the neighbor’s door to end their party. When quiet, I could still hear other guests talking or walking in their room. Air conditioning cannot be controlled in the room - a request has to be made at front desk, but even then it only works for some hours - I never figured it out. Telephone in the room has no instructions how to call the front desk, thus it is unusable - and one gets tired constantly going to ask for something… like for the VIP gift, a bottle of wine, which you have to ask for (do not expect it to be in the room on arrival with a welcome note) or even DRINKING GLASSES…! Those impossible to get in this hotel, you are only allowed to take paper cups from the breakfast room coffee machine). If you have a VIP status, you definitely will not feel it here.

Beautiful comfortable modern room in a convenient location. The breakfast was great with a wide selection of hot and cold items. The room was very clean and newly renovated. The staff was helpful. They spoke English in case you need this. I hope to return.

Cuando reserve el hotel coloque un filtro de fitnes center y breakfast included. Cosa que no paso. No tenia gimnasio y el desayuno tampoco estaba indicado. Cuando hice el check out me cobraron $60 por 4 desayunos. De haberlo sabido no hubiese comido ahi. Por $15 hubiese tenido un mejor desayuno en otro lado.
