Property is old and rooms are small with few amenities. We stayed in a Junior Suite, which seemed like a motel 6 room. Nothing positive to say about this hotel other than our room was clean and we had a king size mattress. The mattress was old and uncomfortable and the pillows were as well. There are no hooks for the towels to hang on. The suite was small, but for one night at a Best Western near the airport it was as expected.

The name of this hotel is confusing. To a local taxi driver it is known as Alfa hotel. The location description of "aereopuerto" is also misleading. The hotel is in a remote location and is a 15 to 20 minutes (and about $30.00) cab ride to the airport. The free shuttle service ends at 10:30 am. The hotel also charges a surprise guest tax of about $12.00 (one night) above and beyond the advertised and prepaid booking amount. Although the hotel is clean and staff is courteous, I recommend booking a hotel in town that is close to restaurants, and points of interest.

The hotel was in the middle of an industrial area. My taxi driver was worried to drop me off. I was left a half bottle of wine with no bottle opener and no glass. There are few food options. While my room was clean and tub generous I was outside the elevators and the walls were as thin as paper. Only stay here as a last resort.

Convenient property to the airport for our one day and night in Barcelona. Public transportation handy and free shuttle to airport was good. Only negative thing was the shower was very slippery. Otherwise, everything was fine.

I picked this hotel for the free shuttle. There was no shuttle time displayed when I made the reservation. I assumed it ran during the day time. The hotel message about the shuttle time sent out the day before arrival. We already were on the plane. The shuttle only ran in the morning and evening. We arrived airport at noon. We must take a taxi to the hotel. If I knew that, I would pick another hotel.

Would give this five stars, but the airport shuttle, which was main reason for choosing, was not available from 10 am to 6 p.m. this was not mentioned until we called from the airport to schedule pickup.

Modern and well staffed airport hotel… meaning it is close to the airport but in an industrial area, remote from the Barcelona city center, and Metro is also remote. Simply, a great place to stay when “in transit”. Highly recommended A

The hotel is fairly close to the airport, but it was quiet and comfortable. You could tell it was a newer property and is well taken care of. Want a great fan of the split twin beds pushed together, but we had are good night's sleep. We loved the breakfast with cooked eggs, potatoes, bacon fruit, etc. It was excellent.

Was expecting a shuttle on arrival. It was few min after 1 pm and their shuttle ends by then?? Why? The dining was poor selection, the breakfast buffet was terrible for price. The shuttle was nonexistent in morning, but they did pay for a cab back to airport in morning. Never use again!

Staff wasn’t overly friendly but for one night it was nice enough to where we’d use it again. We opted for the junior suite which turned out nice but not any bigger than a typical US room. We walked 20 minutes to a neighborhood and ate at a local pizza place (Can Pizza) which was awesome. Overall very convenient for post cruise stay.

The young fellow that checked us in was awesome. He drew a map for us on how to catch the Metro. Very friendly. The morning staff were also very nice.

Pro: early complimentary airport shuttle, nice staff! Cons: be aware of paying 22 euros extra if you want to check in your room before 2 pm even the hotel has room available ( while other hotels will let you check in early if there’s room available).

Short distance to airport. You pick the time you want to leave to the airport. Some people may not like the location because it’s in a industrial area and shopping is not close.

Very nice to stay at. Check in girl could have been more pleasant- she didn’t seem like she was having a very good day. It shows she did not like her job yesterday when she checked us in. The other person helping her was much more welcoming and attentive to paying attention to the customers.

We felt VERY SAFE at the property because the local police love the great coffee there. Their were as many as 12 at one time but always 2 at all times. The breakfast was fantastic everyday. The evening meals were great on the deck in the back, thank you Laura. The front counter people helped us in so many ways its hard to count. We will stay at this property when we return to Barcelona.

Really good hotel, clean, staff helpful. They have safe storage for luggages and shuttle service to the airport. Time between airport and hotel appr 15 min and time to cruise terminal 15 min (appr $25 Euro). There is City bus stop next to hotel to go to Barcelona centre
