Si vous n’aimez pas l’ambiance des bars, oubliez cet hôtel. Ma mère aurait retourné de bord assez rapidement, elle aurait eu bien trop peur. Ne cherchez pas la réception, c’est le barman. C’est la meilleure place pour fêter ou pour ceux qui se couchent tard. On est arrivé vers 21 h après notre vol et c’était déjà bruyant. On s’est couché à 22 h 30 et des gars s’engueulaient, ça cognait sur les murs de partout. Mon chum est allé à la réception et ils ont dit qu’ils enverraient la sécurité. Pendant ce temps, nous avons texté Expedia et 10 minutes plus tard, on changeait dans une chambre tranquille, ce que j’avais demandé en ligne lors de la réservation et je l’ai également mentionné au barman en arrivant. Il m’a donné la pire chambre, numéro 1, celle qui adonne sur le stationnement juste à côté du bar, l’entrée principale de toutes les chambres où tout le monde entre et sorte constamment et cette porte fait un bruit d’enfer quand elle ferme, en plus, au premier étage alors que les planchers sont en carton donc le monde te marche sur la tête. Par contre, ils ont réagit rapidement, malgré qu’on a dû tout ramasser notre stock alors qu’on était couché. On a eu de difficulté à s’endormir après tout ça. Bienvenue en Australie! Il faut préciser aussi que c’est une toilette et douche sur chaque étage pour environ 10 chambres. Heureusement qu’elles ont toujours été libres pour nous. Il faut quand même mentionner que les chambres sont belles et propres." The welcoming drin was a great touch, and the staff were genuinely friendly, smiling, and approachable. Even the other guests in the bar and casino were warm and welcoming, which created a really nice atmosphere. The room itself was comfortable, clean, and spacious. We arrived quite late on our first night (around 10:30 pm) after spending the evening exploring the city, and it was really appreciated to have the flexibility of a smooth late check-in. The bathroom is very large, which we loved. A small note on the shower: the water is nice and hot, but don’t expect strong pressure. If you’ve spent a long day at the beach and need a really good hair wash, this is something to keep in mind. We enjoyed the space and felt safe in the area throughout our stay. Having a grocery store and bottle shop right next door was very convenient. Public transport is also easy, with bus stops nearby and the train station not far. On our second day, we used public transport to get into the city and found it super easy and efficient. One downside for us was the lack of room service during our stay. There was no refill of coffee or water, and we weren’t able to get fresh towels even though we left a note on the door clearly requesting basic service only, not a full room clean. This was a bit disappointing, especially over multiple nights. Overall, a comfortable and welcome stay!"
