Le Cerf is ideally located for enjoying the Vosges in any season, just 10 minutes from Gérardmer and the Schlucht slopes.<br><br>On sunny days, the private heated pool in the garden is one of the chalet’s greatest assets. It invites you to make the most of summer days—whether swimming, relaxing, or dining outdoors—with the mountains as your backdrop. It is open from June through late September, depending on weather conditions.<br><br>In winter, ski enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to the Schlucht slopes, just a 10-minute drive away. The area also offers easy access to La Bresse and the other ski areas and winter activities in the Hautes-Vosges.<br><br>Located in Grand Valtin, in a natural and unspoiled setting, the chalet is also the starting point for numerous hiking trails and mountain bike routes.<br><br>The living area<br><br>On the first floor, you’ll find a pleasant, bright, and inviting living area featuring a fully equipped open kitchen, a dining area, and a sitting area arranged around the wood-burning stove.<br><br>The kitchen features a filter coffee maker and L’Or coffee maker, a toaster, a kettle, and a raclette and fondue set.<br><br>After a meal, the dining table transforms into a pool table—perfect for enjoying a game with family or friends.<br><br>From the living room, you have direct access to the terrace—a pleasant space for dining, enjoying a barbecue, or simply admiring the garden and the mountains.<br><br>The bedrooms<br><br>The chalet features four sleeping areas spread across several levels and can accommodate up to 8 people.<br><br>On the first floor, the first double bedroom has its own shower room.<br><br>Upstairs, two double bedrooms offer comfortable, private spaces.<br><br>On the garden level, a fourth bedroom is specially designed for children, featuring two single bunk beds and an armchair. There is also a small play and drawing area in front of the room set aside just for them.<br><br>Bathrooms<br><br>Le Cerf has three bathrooms and shower rooms spread across the chalet’s different levels.<br><br>The double bedroom on the first floor has its own shower room. A second shower room is located upstairs, and a third bathroom is on the garden level.<br><br>This layout allows everyone to enjoy greater comfort and makes daily life easier during stays with family or friends.<br><br>The Pool and Garden<br><br>During the warmer months, the private, heated outdoor pool becomes the chalet’s premier relaxation spot.<br><br>Located in the garden, it’s the perfect place to take a dip after a day of hiking, mountain biking, or exploring the surrounding area. Children can also enjoy the outdoor areas while adults relax by the water.<br><br>A solar-powered shower is available near the pool.<br><br>The garden also features a swing set and a lit pétanque court, perfect for sharing fun moments outdoors.<br><br>The movie theater<br><br>On the garden level, a movie theater equipped with a projector lets you enjoy a quiet evening with family or friends.<br><br>A second terrace accessible from this space also offers a pleasant spot to relax.<br><br><br><br>You can park in one of the three parking spaces and store your skis in the spacious closet in the entryway.<br><br>Additional information: laundry room with a washing machine; one toilet in each bathroom/shower <br><br>A high chair and a full-size crib are available for toddlers.<br><br>To offer you the best rate for your stay, linens are available as an optional extra.<br><br>The flat rate is €30 per double bed and €15 per single bed.
