This is a great place! Plenty of room, great outdoor areas, close to lots of food, shopping, attractions and sports venues. Host was excellent, perfect communication, very helpful. I would stay here again without hesitation and strongly recommend this unique home.

amazing rooftop deck

We visited this property to attend a funeral. Juan was great with communication and worked with us on a late checkout to accommodate our funeral plans. We especially loved the rooftop deck.

The door lock difficult to open and close. The house is dirty. The upstairs bed sheets were full of hairs. Found sheets in dryer. Changed sheets. Told the owner and said the sheets were cleaned. No way. My wife and I left the next morning. Stayed on Wednesday night. Got a hotel Thursday to Sunday in town. This is a home someone lives in and looks like a defunked frat house. Not worthy to be a rental.

Our preteen/teens want to come back. They loved the property. They thought the lounge on the rooftop and our back was super cool. All the rooms had their own theme. They loved the pinball machine and pool table.

Great spot!

Very unique and fun place! Some friends and I went to the Orioles daytime game. Juan was very responsive and allowed us an early check-in due to game time. Just wish we could've stayed longer to enjoy the place! Great patio and rooftop deck. Walking distance to Camden Yards. And breakfast right down the block at Marty's Deli! Highly recommend! Large spacious eclectic home with multiple themes to each room. Decorative effort appreciated but unusual. Bedding dated. Kitchenware used mismatched, and unclean. Safer and friendly neighborhood.

Huge disappointment. Upon entering, we found a bunch of rotten bananas on the living room table. Not sure if they were supposed to be a welcome gift, but they were swarming with fruit flies because they must’ve been there for days in the hot house. The pictures are absolutely nothing like what the house currently is. The tiki bar and the rooftop deck were disgusting and rundown. The floors were filthy. The towels and sheets were disgusting and full of holes. Dirty dishes were left in the kitchen. The furniture in the pictures, mainly the living room, is not the same. We ended up killing a cockroach on our last night there in the third floor bathroom. The air conditioner unit is definitely not big enough to cool the entire house. The second and third floors were extremely hot, even having the temperature turned all the way down to 64. The pictures must have been from at least 10 years ago, and it appears that there has been no type of maintenance or updating of anything in the house since then.The only positive was that it was a quick and easy walk to the stadiums and to Inner Harbor. We got relatively quick responses from the host, but even those were through an AI generated chat bot. No check-in instructions were ever sent to me prior to our arrival, and no checkout instructions either. I had to reach out to the “host” to get both of them.Overall, very disappointed with the cleanliness and accuracy of the listing. We feel that some type of partial refund should be done.

We are experienced VRBO renters and generally expect minor issues. However, this property was significantly below the standard represented in the listing photos.Upon arrival, we found that the ensuite shower was not functioning. We contacted the host multiple times during our stay regarding missing or non-functioning items. The host attempted to address issues remotely by arranging deliveries, including basic supplies and a fan, but many problems remained unresolved.The property showed numerous signs of poor maintenance and cleaning. The dishwasher contained dirty dishes, the carpeted staircase was visibly filthy, and a staircase baluster was missing. Furniture throughout the property was worn, damaged, and in some cases torn, and did not resemble the condition shown in the listing photos. Beds were old and excessively soft. A bedroom lamp was missing a bulb, a poster was partially hanging off the wall, one of the showers didn't work, and the refrigerator water and ice dispenser did not work.The kitchen and bathrooms were inadequately supplied with basic items such as soap, detergent, and hand towels.While we completed our stay because we were in town for family events, the overall condition, cleanliness, maintenance issues, and disparity between the listing and the actual property substantially reduced the quality and comfort of our stay. We believe a partial refund would be appropriate.

Our stay was very disappointing and the property failed to meet basic standards for cleanliness, maintenance, comfort, and safety.We traveled as two families with 8 guests, including 4 children. Upon arrival, we noticed a strong smoke odor throughout the home. Although listed as smoke-free, there was a black film/residue on tables, floors, and carpets that suggested otherwise.Cleanliness was a major issue. The hardwood floors, bathroom floors, and carpets were dirty. After our children walked barefoot in the home, the bottoms of their feet turned black from dirt and residue, forcing us to have everyone keep their shoes on indoors. The half-bath sink was dirty, and we found stains and hair on the bed sheets. No comforters were provided.The home was also uncomfortably hot. The AC did not appear to be functioning properly and could not adequately cool the house. No fans were provided.Plumbing issues made the stay even more difficult. There was no hot water, and the third-floor bathroom had little to no water pressure.There were several maintenance and safety concerns as well: the living room TV was unsecured and would not turn on, the master bathroom toilet seat would not stay up, the second-floor bathroom exhaust fan did not work, and the rooftop staircase had missing and loose hardware, creating a safety hazard. The front door was also difficult to close and secure.Overall, the property was not clean, properly maintained, or ready for guests. I would not recommend.

Poor communication, poor condition.

Could not figure out how to lock the door from outside. Repeatedly messaged, called and texted host. No response. Had to google the lock manufacturer. Furniture is falling apart. At least 2 holes in walls. Filthy floor. No spoons in the apartment.Probably the worst Vrbo experience I have ever had.

Needs cleaned

The kitchen area was NOT clean. There was food left in the fridge. There were food stains in the fridge, oven, microwave, toaster oven- that were from not being cleaned. I had to clean before we could use the items we planned on using. The beds only had sheets on them so we had to find blankets to add to the beds. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint and the handrails need tightening. The air vents need cleaned as there was thick dust on them. The location was good for what we needed. Area was semi-quiet at night. When we informed Juan of the messy kitchen his response was, "I see.. thank you for bringing it up will have to change cleaning company". No apology. When asked where we were supposed to put the trash as that was a requirement to remove when we left, his response was "... just relax". Not appropriate for a simple question. If we are to come back to the area, we won't be staying here again.
