We stayed for one night. It was a decent and clean room. The photos showed pictures of an indoor pool. The pool is not at the hotel. It's located at the hotel next door. The Kurhotel gives you a pass along with bathrooms, slippers, and towels to bring over to the next door.

So-so at Kurhotel Sassnitz on Rügen Island
Sassnitz is close, about 15 km, to the main National Park on Rügen Island, Jasmund, so whether you have a rented car (as I did) or use plentiful local buses, the location of Sassnitz, and of this Kurhotel in particular, is excellent. The hotel provides free and convenient outdoor parking (from which the view was superior to the one from my room). The local people are very pleasant, wnich, however, could not be said for some of the reception staff. Breakfast is first rate in terms of both contents and location. My main problem was the inferior room, with an interior view. Even if it's not entirely certain who was right about what I actually booked, the management refused to give me, an overseas visitor, a room with sea view – despite being only half full. As for the advertised use of a pool, that's only in an adjacent hotel.

Very nice but no wifi
Very nice, clean hotel, but no Wi-Fi, which was a huge issue for me as a solo traveler. Breakfast buffet was amazing

Wir fanden es toll, dass es keine Zimmerreinigung gab in der Zeit von Corona. Tolle Lage, freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück. Wir hatten ein Comfortzimmer; hier wäre ein kleiner Kühlschrank und ein Wasserkocher von Vorteil. Schade war auch, dass Schwimmbad Rügenhotel offen war und wir nicht hin durften. Sauberes, gutes Hotel zum weiterempfehlen.

Zimmerservice fällt aus ohne Info bei Checkin
Das Zimmer war sehr gut, Sauberkeit an sich gut, nur der Zimmer Service viel aus, wegen Corona, nicht nachvollziehbar. Man musste den Müll und die schmutzigen Handtücher vor die Zimmertür legen von 07-10 Uhr und nur, dann bekam man neue Handtücher und eine Mülltüte an die Klinke vom Zimmer gehangen. War für ein 3 Sterne Hotel enttäuschend. Frühstück sehr gut, Rezeption war verhalten.

nettes Hotel
Nettes Hotel, ein schon bisschen älter, aber nicht ungepflegt. Das Personal an der Rezeption war super nett. Das Einzelzimmer war praktisch eingerichtet und nett und sehr sauber. Das Frühstücksbüfett sehr abwechslungsreich, mir hat es an nichts gefehlt. Ich würde das Hotel weiterempfehlen.

Trevlig hotel och bra läge
+ Bekväma sängar och stora rum. Bra frukost. - Vid sen ankomst man ska hämta nyckel i en annan hotell som ligger på andra sida torget. Stressig morgon p g a att städerska börjar knacka på dörren redan från kl.9:00h.

Eine sehr nette und freundliche Bedienung beim Frühstück, nette Leute im Empfang, sehr gutes Frühstück, aber eine veraltete Möblierung, kein Külschrank, kleiner Fernseher der nicht wirklich gut funktionierte. Fazit: Die motivierten freundlichen Angestellten konnten die nötigen Investitionen der Inhaber nicht ganz wettmachen.

Prima Hotel am Rande der Altstadt von Sassnitz
Wir waren vom 24.-26.07.2019 in diesem Hotel. Wir sind bei der Anreise sehr freundlich empfangen worden. Sehr freundliches Personal mit sehr gutem Fachwissen. Wir haben dann das Zimmer bezogen. Leider fehlte im ersten Moment noch ein Beistellbett. Das war aber schon auf dem Weg als ich an der Rezeption danach fragte. "Wir wissen ja erst wenn der Gast vor uns steht was für ein Kind (Säugling oder - wie in unserem Fall- ein ausgewachsener junger Mann) er mitbringt." Also völlig in Ordnung aus meiner Sicht. Die Zimmer im ersten Stock sind etwas hellhörig. Man hört leider das klappern der Teller fürs Frühstücksbuffet. Sonst waren wir sehr zufrieden. Das Frühstück selbst war super. Frische Brötchen verschiedenster Art, mehrere Sorten Aufschnitt, Joghurt, Müsli, Würstchen, Rührei (in täglicher Variation wie es scheint) um nur einen Teil der Auswahl zu nennen. Wir sind damit immer klasse in den Tag gestartet. Ein Highlight ist die Hooperation mit der Therme im Rügen-Hotel "über den Platz"! Gäste des Hotels erhalten dort freien Eintritt in Sauna und Thermalwasser-Schwimmbad. Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen. Fazit: Sehr gerne mal wieder. Sassnitz sista minuten
Hotellet stängde 22.30. Tyvärr var vår färja försenad men efter ett telefonsamtal stannade en vänlig receptionist kvar en så att vi hann fram. Det kallar jag service. Rent behagligt rum och en god frukost. Hotellet i sig är ett gammalt sjömanshotell men renoverat för några år sedan till en god standard. I närområdet mot kajen ligger restauranger, cafe’er etc. En bra start för en resa på Rugen.

Beste Lage in Sassnitz
Schönes Einzelzimmer,zur Übernachtung während Familienbesuch in Sassnitz genutzt. Kleiner Kühlschrank/Minibar und Wasserkocher hat mir gefehlt.. Sehr gutes Frühstück.

Bardzo wygodne łóżka, dobre śniadanie i extra obsługa. Recepcja czynna do 22.30 , ale my przybyliśmy później i nie było problemu z zameldowaniem. Parking na tyłach hotelu - bezpłatny. Trochę klimatu NRD przykrytego nowoczesnością i muzealnym wystrojem.
