There were cleanliness issues in the kitchen and there were roaches in the downstairs bedroom. (These are probably exceptions to the normal upkeep and owner was very apologetic.). There needs to be instructions for how to operate the TVs in each room. We finally contacted the owner so we could watch the TV in the den, but just gave up trying to work the two in the bedrooms. Also, you will be expected to start the laundry for linens before you check out. Easy transfer of luggage from the ferry to the tram that transported us to our rental. It was was easy to explore the island on the provided golf cart. Having a map of the island at the rental was helpful so we could easily find our way around the island. Having beach towels, chairs and bicycles was a real plus! We found the well-stocked grocery store off of Federal Rd. in the South Beach area. South Beach was a great beach for walking, collecting shells and swimming.
