"Would have liked more sugar in the room for tea. My room was near the main door, and there were people going out in the early hours of the morning to smoke and banging the first door you go through. Did not get much sleep. Otherwise, the hotel was good."

"It was a great place to stay, having the pub next door was a great bonus. We were greeted with great politeness and everything explained. The room was massive, Queen size bed nice comfortable. The breakfast was great value for the price, full English, cereal tea/coffee, juice and plenty of toast. So all in all i would recommend. "

"Lovely large self contained chalet with 3 bedrooms. We took our dog with us so was perfect with lovely walks on the doorstep. She was made very welcome in the pub "

"We enjoyed being just outside the town of New Mills, beautiful countryside surrounding the inn. Very charming little inn with friendly, helpful staff and very good food. "

"My second stay here and again cannot fault anything. Spotless, fresh smelling comfortable room. Had everything we needed. (Apparently they do a great breakfast but we didn't partake ) Would I stay again? Absolutely."

"A very well appointed pub with accommodation. Good beers and food. Great cooked breakfast. I found it hard to first locate the entrance to the pub car park and, when i did, hard to park up. "

"Nice hotel, room well equipped, breakfast service was slow and only one cereal available, if you love spiders theres a big one in its web in the velxlux window above the stairs that lead up to the rooms. Other than that good value for £70 a night bnb but not great when saturday prices are £167 bnb on a Saturday night. Down side to was reception didnt open until 10 am on a Saturday even though sign said 9am. Would feel better if receotion was maned 24/7"

"We had a lovely stay at the Lathkil hotel, the staff there were very welcoming and accommodating, including allowing us into our room early so we could drop off our things and go for a hike as soon as we arrived. The breakfast was great and the views stunning, would definitely recommend."
