"You cannot reserve a carpark place but we had no problem getting one whenever we returned after a day out. Room was great and even had a fan supplied for this hot spell food menu was good and our meals were great. Perfect base for visiting local area and lovely town and river walks for evening strolls."

"My wife & I stayed at the Beeley Inn last night, everything about the stay was really good from the check in, the outdoor drinking areas, the dinner and the breakfast.
The room was not massive but it was absolutely fine.
The staff were always very friendly and polite. Definitely worth another trip.
The breakfast was superb."

"We had a pleasant stay at the hotel . It was very clean and comfortable. However I was disappointed with the breakfast experience with limited options and limited staff to manage it . On the 2 nd day most of the breakfast items were empty when we arrived at 9 am and had to wait for long time ."
"The hotel and spa are good, but they fall short of what could be a truly excellent guest experience. There are a number of missed opportunities throughout the customer journey. The main issue doesn't appear to be staffing levels, but rather inconsistent training, a lack of management oversight, and insufficient quality control checks.
That said, I would return. The spa facilities are enjoyable, the building is impressive, and there is plenty to like. However, I would avoid dining in the hotel restaurant for breakfast or dinner and would probably skip the bar as well. There are numerous excellent alternatives just behind the hotel and across the road that offer better value and service.
My advice to future guests would be to check carefully what is and isn't included in your package before arrival, research the parking options in advance, and make use of the valet parking service if it suits you (£30 per day). On arrival, ensure your room has a TV remote and that the complimentary refreshments have been fully stocked. Unfortunately, requests for missing items seemed to fall on deaf ears during our stay.
One final surprise was the room service tray charge, which felt excessive and was higher than I've experienced in some luxury Mayfair hotels.
Overall, a good hotel with the potential to be great, but one that would benefit significantly from stronger management attention to detail and service standards."
"When I booked the hotel I got the impression that there was parking there. When we arrived I went into ask where the parking was I was given a map and told to park in a residential street "5 minutes walk away". There were some public parking spaces outside and opposite the hotel (only one space opposite when we arrived) but the signs indicated it was maximum of 4 hours so we did park in one of the residential streets suggested. That night when someone checked in we heard the member of hotel staff say that if he paid the hotel (we didn't hear how much) they would give him a permit to put in his car for 24 hours. As my husband has breathing difficulties, if we had been given that option, we would have happily paid so were rather annoyed that I wasn't told about that, either before or on arrival."
"I found hotel a bit grubby.
Breakfast selection was good, but was cold. Middle of afternoon I was in my room and a staff member let themselves in. No knock to warn me. I was told by reception that staff are entitled to enter rooms and to put up a do not disturb sign. Cleaners had already been. Noisy at night from local club, so didn't sleep well. On last morning toilet stopped flushing. Most staff friendly at reception and breakfast area. I wouldn't stay here again. Rooms need updating, especially bathrooms, as looked old and tatty."
"We were instantly made to feel welcome when checking in, everything was explained to us regarding the facilities the dining arrangements and the bars. Very friendly and polite staff too. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend."
