The quiet wooded retreat awaits: custom-built, elegant living space, warm hospitality, with stylish designer amenities and all the comforts of home.

The Home
We'll provide everything you'll need for a pleasant and relaxing stay.
First floor: king bedroom, open kitchen / living area, bathroom and laundry room
Upstairs: a second king bedroom

* Soaring vaulted ceilings allow the sunlight to flood the main living area

* Double patio doors that lead to the outdoors
* Large sundeck overlooking the woods for either dining or relaxing outdoors

The Location
Located 1.7 miles from downtown Bailey's Harbor, enjoy a popular destination on the "quiet side" of the peninsula along the shores of Lake Michigan.
* Set in the sleepy woods just outside of Bailey's Harbor
* Three minute car ride, thirty minute walk or five minute bike ride takes you into town to visit :
Cana Island Lighthouse, hike at the Ridges Sanctuary, the village park, marina, beach, boutiques, restaurants, brewery, winery, bike/kayak rentals, ice cream / coffee shops, Sunday farmer's market and more.
* Centrally located on the peninsula making visits to all of Door County's most popular little towns: Sister Bay, Ephraim, Fish Creek, and Egg Harbor all within a short drive (5-15 min).

Beautiful relaxing getaway spot
This place is absolutely wonderful. Clean and beautiful inside. Outside deck area was very relaxing, quiet and enjoyable having a fire and watching all the wildlife. Michelle, the host responded to any questions promptly. Definitely a must to stay and return.

Perfect!
We arrived after a long day driving and were very pleased with our choice in this rental. The kitchen had everything needed to cook inside as well as using the grill outside. The fire pit on the deck was and added bonus and we enjoyed cooking cherry pies over the fire. Everything was easy to use and the location was quiet, yet close to activities. We had a question and got a quick response from the owner. It was our first trip to Door County and this home helped us build nice memories. We were able to relax and unwind. Thanks for your hospitality!

Beautiful wooded haven
Such a gorgeous place in the woods. The interior is beautiful and very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen that included a coffee bar and a great assortment of spices for cooking. The owner also left a bottle of wine and some chocolates! I highly recommend this rental.

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend for our babymoon. The cottage is aesthetically beautiful and the fireplace and outdoor fire table were great touches to have. The location is perfect to see all of Door County. Would highly recommend!!

Weekend retreat
We stayed here with my parents who are in their mid seventies. It was the perfect size for the 4 of us. It’s located in a quiet area in the woods, perfect location to reach all the major stops in DC. Very clean and the host provided a lot of little perks…coffee station, emergency toiletries, gift, etc. We loved our stay and would absolutely stay there again!

Exceptional All Around, Definitely Recommend!
We stayed here for a few days in March ‘24. After booking we had a few questions about the property and possible places to eat / activities going on at the time our stay. The property manager Michelle was easy to reach and her responses were thorough and prompt which was extremely helpful. We ended up trying some of the suggested coffee shops and restaurants. Great suggestions! While it was cold outside the cottage as a whole stayed warm easily. It has everything you could need to make your stay comfortable including laundry and full kitchen with lots of room for food prep so you can bring yourself, some groceries, and focus on sinking in and relaxing while you’re there. The location is settled in the woods, and a short drive to get around to activities. We were thankful to have such a nice place to go back to at the end of the evening. Thanks for helping to make our stay memorable, and definitely would return here in the future.
