Great spot, right by a golf course and under a cliff. I think in the spring and summer it will be a great place for a family stay. Good value for the money.

The hotel is nice, the room was spacious and comfortable. It’s a 2 minute walk to the Tamina Therme and you can get t discounted tickets at the hotel which lets you in directly without waiting in line. The food at the hotel is really good, especially breakfast. For dinner we had to wait even though we had a reservation and the service was slow, but they were very nice about it and offer us some freebies. The service was very friendly.

Very overpriced room in the annex, most rooms of this quality cost 90-100CHF. The restaurant at dinner only offered a buffet for 52CHF - as I didn’t eat the meat’s offered (limited) it left me with soup and salad fir that price or a long walk to and from town as the buses don’t run late. Extremely disappointing after other Schloss hotels I have stayed at . I arrived at 2pm and was told I could not check in till 3pm - I was aware of this but many hotels will check you in early if the room is ready. Not a friendly feeling at this hotel other than at breakfast which was good. Would not recommend this hotel is you want other than a very ordinary experience - nothing special here, including the price.

Unpleasant stay
Very unique hotel, but i have to struggling with insects (like bee, flies and spider). My 2nd room was having electric black out and cold room. The reception told us to wait until 7:30am to fix it. My parents were very disappointed and decided to check out the next day

Schlossinger Ragatz
Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Our rooms were not in the main bldg. which we would have enjoyed but in a modern annex near the swimming pool. They were spacious and immaculate and quiet. The extra bed for our grandson was a double and he loved it. We could have connected the two rooms, but didn’t! Breakfast was included and excellent. The hotel is within walking distance of the town...highly recommend.

Historical property that maintains much charm in the main structure. Beautiful location with gorgeous views. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was wonderful. Very nice size bedroom/sitting area and bathroom. The bed was so comfortable. Just loved how they kept so much of the period architecture and details. Wish we could have stayed more than just one night. Would definitely stay here again and spend more time. Only thing I found that was a bit surprising was the condition of the carpeting in our room. It could use a good shampoo for some spotty areas, and the floor was a bit squeaky, but to be expected in a historical property. Overall, I LOVED it!

Clean and Comfortable Hotel.
Clean, comfortable hotel room, excellently placed for access to Tamina Therme (hotel provides discounted access). The restaurant has a good set menu for dinner and the breakfast has a good selection. Receptionists were very friendly and helpful.

Nice family friendly hotel in picturesque setting
Cottage room worked out for 4 of us with 2 bed areas and sizable room. Staff was friendly. Nice breakfast. No AC in room and opening windows let in bugs so kept them closed. Less than 10 minute walk into town.

Very nice hotel...
The hotel was great, we had a large room in the Schloss (they have several out buildings with rooms so make sure to request a room in the main building). It was clean and very much what you would expect in an historic building. There is a restaurant next door that serves a European menu.

When we first drove up it was such a beautiful sight and I had been very much looking forward to our stay. It was all the little details that made us disappointed. For the reputation and price I was expecting a top notch facility. The ‘heated’ pool was freezing cold. The jacuzzi cost an extra 5£, which made the hotel seem cheap. The breakfast supposedly began at 715am but when we arrived at 8 there was not much selection, some cereals, breads and cheeses. It was as we were finishing out meal at close to 9 that they finally began bringing out the full array of items. There is also nowhere in town where you can purchase souvenirs and upon our arrival in the town of Bad Ragaz at 13.30h all the shops were closed, except the grocers. It was a lovely location but for the price and luxury we expected we were disappointed.

Hotel Stay in Switzerland
Stayed in the Schloss Ragaz Hotel in Switzerland. The Hotel room in the main castle was exactly what I expected. The room was large but the bathroom a bit small but it had modern facilities. The staff were friendly to me and my family. The restaurant had good food however the bar could have been manned a bit more. Overall it is a nice hotel that I would stay again at.

Charming hotel in beautiful location
I really enjoyed a one night stay at the Schloss Ragaz. I was only passing through, so I didn't take advantage of the spa facilities (which I regret - they looked wonderful), but the hotel itself was lovely, the room spacious and comfortable and breakfast was great.

Well located and well priced
I have stayed there with my parents on our way to Milano. We did not intend to visit the village, but only to stay for a night in the hotel as the location and the price is so attractive. The hotel is an amazing place for people who wants to take a rest at peaceful place. And you can combine some small trips to the other cities. The castle is located in a small village, yet not too far from the highway. You can stay there and visit other famous tourist sight such as St. Moritz or Zurich. And the room is so clean and worth its cost. But do not expect something very cheap; you are checking a review on a hotel located in Switzerland. Facilities are well prepared. I was impressed by their 'good bye gift.' They have prepared a little bottle of home made jam. This so lovely. I would like to stay there again.

Good hotel in superb location
The hotel has rooms in the main building (castle/schloss), as well as in separate pavilions. While the rooms in the pavilions are more comfortable and better equiped one has to walk a good distance from them to the restaurant, bar, reception, etc., something that is less than pleasant when it rains. The location and the park are very nice and the personnel was very friendly and accomodating. The restaurant (more than the hotel itself) justify that it is rated only 3-star.

L'hotel è molto bello con il fascino del passato. Noi abbiamo dormito nella depandance, spaziosa con il giardino privato. Il personale è molto disponibile e gentile. I bagni bad ragaz sono a 200 mt, comodissimo per andare a piegi. Assolutamente consigliato.
