Located by Alley creek on Lake of the Pines Avinger,Tx private dock , lake front . One bedroom, one bath , large front deck over looking the lake, fishing & swimming and fully equipped kitchen. Has charcoal & gas grill , outdoor fire pit . Just a 10 minute drive from Jefferson Tx which you have great restaurants & antique shopping.

2 kayaks & paddle board (free) available , also have a seadoo for rental

Very steep driveway, if you are pulling a boat or trailer you must have 4 wheel drive vehicle.

Owners live on premises.

I cannot think of a more perfect place to stay for a weekend getaway. The cabin was very clean, very comfortable, and stocked with anything and everything we could have needed. The view from the back porch is peaceful. There are even a family of eagles that nest close by that you can watch. The owners of the property live in the house behind the cabin and we had a chance to visit with them a couple times. They were friendly, helpful, and gave us as much space and privacy as we wanted. 10/10 for this cabin. We didn’t want to leave!

Wonderful Cabin with View

Enjoyed the weekend stay at the Tomahawk cabin. Very clean and comfortable and well stocked and the owners were very friendly and helpful. The view from the deck was great of the lake. Enjoyed fishing off the pier and the kayaks that were provided. Great location for this area. This was our 2nd stay at the cabin and looking forward to our next trip back.

Amazing cabin for chilling

We were so glad we stayed at this cabin! There is no control over the weather and rain, and the recent rains the area had, had the water level so high that we could not use the pier and the beautiful views from it. But with even with the rains, we spent hours on the covered porch with the fabulous view from there. It inside of the cabin was well stocked with most any utensil, appliances, tv, dining and plenty of comfortable seats. It was gorgeous inside and a real pleasure to stay there.

Getaway weekend

The cabin was beautiful and relaxing. Very comfortable bed and the couch pulled out into a bed for our grandson. The weather was windy the first day but the second day it was calm and we caught quite a few catfish. The back porch was great to sit on and enjoy the view. Our host was absolutely fabulous. We will definitely be coming back.

What a Hidden Paradise

We loved our short stay at Syzette's property. It was so serene and beautiful. My son had a hard time leaving the property. Everything was clean and tidy, we had no trouble at all. We enjoyed the outdoors, the dock, and even just walking along the lake shore. We are looking forward to be back.

Absolute dream of a secluded cabin

This is an absolutely perfect lake cabin for getting away and relaxing. The cabin has a few houses around it, but our entire trip we saw zero people. The lake was absolutely stunning with so much wildlife to watch from the back porch and the dock. We have two young children, so the beach access on the property was great for digging and searching for things. They made a secret fort where they found all sorts of treasures. We could also fish off the dock, and will be back for swimming when it's warmer. So much to do! The host was fabulous. We were welcomed into a gorgeously decorated cabin that really transformed us into the cabin life. My husband even complimented how well the cabin was decorated. We were provided many extra amenities I've never had at another property. The host was on property and always available for questions, but she was never intrusive. We had a chilly weekend, but even in the cold weather our lake trip was relaxing and stress-free. Movies and games are available if you're stuck inside. Thank you, Syzette for offering such a lovely place for us to stay. We will be back soon!

Awesome experience!

This was by far the best place I've stayed with a host. They were amazing hosts, the property was great, had literally everything we could've needed or wanted. They thought of everything amd the cabin is amazingly stocked! We would definitely return someday in the future!

If you are looking for a quiet, beautiful place to stay, this is it the host was very personable, and very outgoing, property and accommodations are as exactly as stated. Beautiful scenery right on the lake. Bald eagles were absolutely amazing.

WILL BE BACK!

We were so excited to have found this gem of a property! It was off the beaten track, right on the lake with every amenity you can think of. The cabin was clean, charming and well stocked with little unexpected extras. The sofa was very comfortable seating and the bed was extremely comfortable with top drawer linens. The view of the lake was amazing, the hosts were extra helpful. We are already telling all our friends about this place and plan to come back for sure!!

Relaxing Getaway

Very relaxing few days. The back porch was great. Awesome view of the lake. Great place to sit and read a book and bird watch. We would love to come back when the weather is cooler. Syzette and Karry were great. Always there to lend a helping hand when we needed it.

Peaceful Cabin

We enjoyed our brief stay at the cabin very much. Nice covered porch out back with a view of the lake and a steady breeze. Cabin was clean and had everything that you would need. Suzette is super! They also have a great steakhouse 20 minutes away! This is a great place to stay!

Great getaway spot

The cabin itself was wonderful - it looks exactly as it does in the listing. The property owners are also super helpful and friendly. We had a minor issue with the stove our first night and the owners came right away and fixed it. The fishing there is also great - we fished one day and caught well over 10 catfish. It’s also a great spot for swimming. Definitely a 10/10 for me and I will be planning on booking with them again if we stay at Lake O the Pines again!

Lake of the Pines cabin!

My husband and I loved this place so much! We didn't want to leave and are trying to figure out when we will get to go back! House was great and smelled amazingly good! Fishing was excellent off of the pier! The hostess Syzette and her husband were wonderful...kept asking if we needed anything or if they needed to do something different with the cabin! NO!! It was a great trip and we are definitely going back! Loved it!

Amazing, we will be back!!

The cabin looks just like the pictures. The view is amazing! Great deck, dock and hosts! They have everything you could need and the house smells wonderful. Great location right on the lake. We’re already looking at our calendars to see when we can visit again! Thank you for everything!
