I didn't even check in, I just turned around and drove back home. Disgusting, dirty, black homeless guys walking around outside, and they charge $35/night for PARKING.

My stay at the Fairmont was so wonderful that I didnt want to leave. The room was impeccable, the hotel itself is gorgeous and the staff could'nt be more helpful and nice. Loved it. Ill be back.

Hyatt Centric Congress Ave Austin
Not everything in Texas is bigger. The rooms are small. No lobby. 8th floor lounge was closed with events, patio closed. Location was close to state building. but the walk required walking past homeless zombi drug addicts. I would stay closer to the river or the other side of the river.
