Good hiking possibilities. Are you looking for active outdoor vacations, this is the right place; this district shows a beautiful combination of mountains and sea. The islands have a friendly hiking terrain and on the island Smøla the highest point is just 64 m above sea level. The island of Tustna is considered the cradle of clipper fishing, which grew into one of the most important industries in the region.
