Perfect for a weekend away - even heard kiwi calls at night! Would recommend packing light as there is a easy well maintained bush walk to get to the cabin, but this is clearly mentioned by the owners and is not a deterrent, if anything - its kind of a benefit if you're looking for privacy. Mosquitoes are a problem for me but host kindly supplied can of bug spray.Fabulous double yolk eggs and ciabatta bread also supplied. Internet almost non existent but Xmas Day and Boxing day was good then nothing after that but we were prepared. Made full use of outdoor bath but the hot tub was another 250 mtr walk so didn't bother with it.If you want solitude this is perfect. ##### Julie W. The location, property and environment were breathtaking. Located in the bush, you are surrounded by nature. Our stay was peaceful, relaxing and exciting! Mark and Sue were wonderful and excellent hosts. Mark is a local designer and built most of the furnishings inside and outside the home! Can not recommend the Bush Hut enough!
