Our room was super clean and staff was very friendly. Parking on site was easy and you could walk to a lot in the area. The cons were we found no way to change the room temperature or turn on a fan even. The place had super thin walls so you could hear everything going on inside and outside the bldg which made it hard to sleep. Also we had a very firm bed which was tough. We would definitely stay here again but would bring a small portable fan with us.

Our stay at the Chelsea Inn was absolutely delightful! The ambiance of the place is steeped in Victorian charm, adorned with walls adorned with fascinating antiques and historical treasures. The staff were exceptionally warm and accommodating, making us feel right at home. We felt secure and at ease within the confines of the building. Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend the Chelsea Inn to anyone seeking a memorable experience, and we most certainly look forward to returning in the future.

I think the louvre door which served as a bathroom door between the king sized bedroom and toilet area was ridiculous and really made our stay a bit unpleasant. I don’t know what genius thought this door was a good plan but it’s not. Also there was no bath fan. It’s a shame because everything else was pretty great. Privacy matters.

Great Hotel
Great little historic hotel. Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. Breakfast was included which was also nice. The only drawback was no temperature control in any of the rooms. It was extremely warm and we had to open the windows to get any type of air circulation. Other than that, it was a fantastic stay.

Second stay here. Is a very charming property. Great location, rooms are clean and comfortable, great staff and great price. Parking is on site. I love this place.

Everything was great and they accommodated us when we had to pick up our key before the room was ready. Our only complaint was the room was cold and we had no control over the temperature.

I have stayed at the Chelsea many times over the years. It is a quiet Inn a 1/2 block from the boardwalk and about 3/4 of a mile from the outlet shops. I go during teachers convention. They serve a nice breakfast with lovely places to sit during your meal.

Best hotel in Atlantic City!
2nd visit at this hotel- super friendly staff, clean room, great breakfast, this will be our go-to hotel in AC from now on - 1 block from the boardwalk- check it out, you will not be disappointed -

This was a unique spot the first time we stayed here a few years ago. This visit was not so lovely. Our room was small, had been refitted with badly installed engineered hardwood flooring, and was noisy (right above the vent from the restaurant below) and hot. The breakfast, which in the past had been a beautiful french country buffet, was disappointing, to say the least. Staff was all very friendly. It now has the feel of a corporate operation instead of a quaint inn. I am sorry to see this change in such a lovely little hotel.

This hotel is a great location for being right downtown in Atlantic City. Just steps from the Tropicana. This is not our cookie cutter hotel! The rooms are designed around the period give off a spooky yet safe vibe. We stayed in October do the owners and staff really played up the Halloween angle which was appreciated. Breakfast was included and very good. There’s stories with no elevator may be a challenge for some, especially with bags. We loved it!

My husband and I are so glad we found the Chelsea Pub & Inn! We decided to stay over in AC after a concert at the nearby Boardwalk Hall, and fortunately there was still room at the inn. The staff was super friendly and our room was clean, comfy, and neatly decorated. The building has so many beautiful architectural features and amazing art and antique pieces inside. The free parking and breakfast were a great bonus. I would SO much rather stay at a nice spot like this than a chain or casino hotel. Thank you, Chelsea!

The property has so much history. We stayed on the third floor. A bit difficult for me as I have neuropathy. But it was one night and I didn’t think to ask where the room was. Breakfast in the morning. Comfortable bed. Clean room. Close to the beach, boardwalk and Tropicana Casino and hotel. Parking on the premises which is appreciated. Would recommend this stay

'Copacetic' Bed & Breakfast!
Wonderful bed & breakfast from glorious days past, incorporating all modern amenities in prime location! Very nice breakfast served, coffee/tea/water all day, library and games (chess!) available, peaceful nooks indoors and outdoors available for quiet retreats and the pub & restaurant attached... all around a delightful place for our romantic getaway!

It was not in a safe area. The noise of people in the parking lot was unbelievable at night. We were awakened at 5 am this morning by a large number of people speaking and yelling at the top of their voice. The pub is open 24 hrs.

The room, itself, was comfortable. But it was impossible to sleep with all the noise outside. The parking lot adjacent to the property seems to be a meeting spot for those looking for late night partying. People were blasting music, screaming, revving their engines, and even fighting until at least 4am. I understand that this isn't the fault of the property, but it's hard to recommend when I was hardly able to sleep at all during my stay. On a positive note, the beds are comfortable, the location is central, and the breakfast is solid.

Cute bedrooms. Bathroom was small with limited sink space. Also, there was no solid door between the bathroom & the bedroom, just a folding louvered door. The bed was comfortable and the place was a nice alternative from your standard hotel...and a little cheaper.
