"We stayed in a one bedroom unit and it was very small. The galley kitchen made the hallway to get to the living room and trundle bed very narrow. I can’t imagine staying here with more than 2 people, it would be absurdly cramped. The property was fine overall, but the location was phenomenal. It was really close to a lot of different activities and restaurants. Also the property’s access to the beach was awesome. It’s a great place to stay with your family, just know that it’s a very basic condo that you’re getting. If your whole reason for coming is to spend time out on the beach or doing other activities, this is a great base of operations. If you’re planning on spending a lot of time inside together as a family, don’t stay in a single bedroom even if it says it can sleep up to 6."

"My experience at the Sand Dollar was absolutely incredible 😌😌😌I was greeted with friendly front desk staff at check in and checkout.My stay was the best with great service and quick response from staff which made the days of rain that I had during my stay the best 😊😊😊 the room I stayed in was the economy multiple beds and kitchenette and was in very good condition👍👍 ac and beds were good. Parking was ok. Maybe having the beds lower about 3 to 4 inches and get some pads to put on the metal table and benches in the room to save the floor from getting scratched up. But overall I highly recommend the Sand Dollar to everyone. Short distances to just about everything."

"Excellent location! This unit is first floor (despite what check-in directions say) and “oceanfront” (but really dunes front because you can’t see the water), but less than a minute walk to the sand. The apartment was small, but super efficient, very clean and instructions for checking in and out were very clear. The ceiling fan over the bed rattles & seems very loose when turned up past level 1, so definitely kept that low & slow while we were sleeping. The futon in the living room area was plush & comfortable to sit on. Not a lot of privacy, but that was expected as all the outside spaces were shared. I did like the glass front door, so you could see out; just be mindful of all the folks walking by. Because we were on the ocean side, we had to park on the street side of the complex & walk around to the unit. It was not a long walk, but worth considering when it’s super hot out or carrying a lot of items from your vehicle. We were there towards the end of June and the pool was very dirty; there was a lot of dirt/debris floating & along the bottom. It had been a bit windy, but I think it was just not appropriately maintained. There was a resident there, who got out the net, after she heard my comment about the pool cleanliness, but it was just too much for her. The water was still refreshing, but there is NO shade around the pool area. We enjoyed ourselves & I would recommend this unit; especially for couples or small family of 3 looking for a quick, quiet beach getaway."

"We had a great stay! The location was perfect—a short, easy walk to the beach, and the neighbors were very friendly. The place was clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed for our stay. It was the perfect size for the two of us. The only minor downside was that the bathroom was a little small, but we made it work without any issues. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying here again!"

"I loved the location, the updated kitchen and bath were nice!I must of missed that there wasn't an ice maker. (Ice , you would think would be easy to find, ended up back at the grocery store).It would be nice if you could open the windows or front door to enjoy the air from the beach!The only suggestion I have is possibly black-out shades . There are 2 big street lights that are on all night right outside the cottage, that shine through the blinds.The parking space was right beside the stairs , with the outdoor shower right there,which was great!Thank you for a great mini vaca."
