It’s a cute little place for a night rest. The bed and mattress need updating though. It creaked every time I moved.

The private room we stayed in was clean and quiet. Check in was easy and front desk staff were always friendly. On our day of check out they let us store luggage for the day as we didn’t leave town until the evening which was a great help! The bathrooms ran out of paper products a few times and the bathrooms and kitchen were not the cleanest in comparison to other hostels along the east coast, but it was nothing too notable and overall we had a positive experience! The location is incredible and...

We enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and clean and it was great to have use of a kitchenette. Property is located centrally in Cairns and is an easy walk to most sights.

Appreciated the bigger room to accommodate the family of 5. Kitchen is well equipped except the floor flooded when it was raining hard outside

It was located near the botanical garden and a 40 minutes walk to the marina. I find that the location was great because usually there are some shuttles pick up for excursions like Kuranda Scenic Railway. Staff was very friendly an de helpful. The taxi from the airport costed us 20$ (at night) and 16$ to get there back.

If you are looking for a quiet environment that will make you feel very welcome it is a great hostel. Good kitchen, great staff. Good air conditioning

Great property in a great location. Clean and no bugs. Great shower pressure!! Staff was friendly and helpful. Had a tour company on site to help with bookings, which was amazing. Kitchen was helpful to have for making our own morning coffee or tea before heading out for the day. Didn’t use the pool as had been out each day all day on boats to the reef, and this location is directly across the street from the lagoon. At first we were worried as I hadn’t realized I’d booked a hostel...

All is good

Our stay was decent - the bathrooms were clearly renovated and looked nice. The bedrooms were surprisingly nice as well - art on the walls, nice lamps and bedsheets, etc. however the bed was the squeakiest thing on earth. You would sit and it would be a very loud squeak. Let alone roll over at night. The kitchen needs work. It could be a lot nicer with some new paint or drawer protectors. It also needs more tools such as drying racks, more washing sponges, etc. overall decent place but the...

Superb location with everything a hostel needs. Drink specials, food deals, entertainment and friendly staff. Would stay again

Clean room great price basic and met our needs.
